Marvel Shows Echo And Daredevil: Born Again Are Connected, According To Vincent D’Onofrio
Vincent D’Onofrio revealed the connection between Marvel Studios’ upcoming series, Echo and Daredevil: Born Again.
When Daredevil: Born Again was announced at San Diego Comic-Con, it excited fans and filled them with expectations of what Marvel would do with the show. All this excitement comes from the success of the previous Daredevil series released on Netflix. Critics and fans loved this show, as it immortalized the actor Charlie Cox’s unique performance as Matt Murdock, especially next to the villain Kingpin.

Now, the famous actor Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays Wilson Fisk, aka Kiping, has given details about what we will see in the new Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again and how it connects to Echo.

Actor Vincent D’Onofrio revealed all the details he knows and what we will see in the new Marvel Studios series Daredevil: Born Again. With this new version, fans will surely be even more delighted than with its predecessor. The new show will bring back actors who play the role of heroes and villains. Besides that, it will work as if it were a soft reboot that has to do with the events of the Netflix series.
What does this mean? Only some events of those we already know will be considered to raise a new beginning with another story. And if something has left everyone puzzled with the announcement of the new Marvel Studios series, it is that the first season will have 18 episodes.

But one of the characters that marked the audience was Kingpin, played by Vincent D’Onofrio. The actor has stated that he is very excited by the public’s reception of his character, so he intends to remain to play it in the Marvel series Echo and Daredevil: Born Again.
The actor said at the Salt Lake FanX 2022 that we have many surprises. D’Onofrio “I’ll tell you… You see guys, you have no idea what awaits you in Daredevil: Born Again. I know just a little bit more than you do. And all I can say is, during that next series, you won’t be thinking about anything but the next episode. I promise you.”

Among his statements, since he has to stick to the rules and can’t reveal too much, he confirmed that he would be taking on Daredevil in both series, which will excite everyone.
Kingpin, Daredevil, and Spider-Man?
Vincent D’Onofrio teased that he would love to interact with other Marvel Studios characters, such as Spider-Man. To which he replied to a fan, “I mean, there’s really only one end goal… And I think someone just said who that would be.”
But when referred to which of the three Spider-Man, he would like to face (Tobey, Andrew, or Tom), he indicated, “Well, I know a lot of these answers I give you, they’re not the answers you want, but I want to fight all of them. It doesn’t have to be at the same time. I just want them all. So finally, there’s the truth. I want them all.”

If we remember, this villain, Wilson Fisk, is one of the most memorable villains in the comics. We must add that Vincent D’Onofrio has delivered a magnificent performance bringing this character to life. So we can all agree that he should keep playing the character in the MCU for a long time.
According to a report from this year, Kingpin and Daredevil would return in another Marvel Studios series, Echo. Additionally, a rumor claims that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will appear in three episodes. In comparison, Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin would be in four episodes “wearing an eye patch because he was shot in the head in Hawkeye.”

Marvel’s Echo still has no premiere date, but it should release summer of 2023. Echo’s plot centers on Hawkeye‘s Maya Lopez. It will feature a cast including Alaqua Cox, Zahn McClarnon, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Chaske Spencer, Graham Greene, and Cody Lightning.
The series, written by Marlon Dayre, and episodes that Catriona McKenzie and Sydney Freeland will direct, will bring new plots to fans, which will surely leave them trapped, wanting to join the sequences of each story, which is very typical of the Marvel universe.
