Joshua M. Patton: Managing Editor
A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Joshua M. Patton practiced reading before ever going to school by poring over the tiny comic books packaged with He-Man action figures. This spawned a love of comic books, weird genre fiction, and an occasional yearning for fuzzy bikini shorts. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Bosnia during the Clinton Administration and Iraq during the Bush Administration. A writer for more than 20 years, he’s still not run out of words and wants to use most what he has left to sing the praises of these fantastic stories. He’s the best star-pilot in the galaxy, a cunning warrior, and a good friend. Follow him on Twitter @JoshuaMPatton or on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/joshua.m.patton. His collection What I Learned: Stories, Essays, and More is available in print from Amazon and in digital formats anywhere ebooks are sold.

Salomé Gonstad: Contributing Pop Culture Editor
Salomé Gonstad is a freelance writer who grew up in the swampy wilds of south Alabama. She now splits her time between the Appalachian wilds (of Alabama) and the considerably more refined streets of New York City. When she's not yelling about pop culture on the internet, she's working on a supernatural thriller about her hometown. Also, we're pretty sure she's a werewolf.
Meghan Hale: Contributing Television and Films Editor
Meghan Hale is a graduate student living right outside of Toronto, Canada. She has always been the go-to gal for talking about anything film related and has a frustratingly long list of movie trivia up her sleeve. She is currently working on her first screenplay, as well as a horror novel, with the goal of publishing it while Stephen King is still around to read it.
Emily O'Donnell: Contributing Books Editor
Emily O'Donnell is a writer and photographer with roots in some of the earliest online fandoms. She cut her genre teeth on the Wizard of Oz books at the tender age of 6 years old, and was reading epic adult fantasy novels by the age of 10. Decades later, she still consumes genre fiction like there is no tomorrow. She is delighted to be living through the golden age of sci-fi and fantasy popularity. She is unashamed of the amount of fanfiction that still lingers online under her name.
Shah Shahid: Contributing Anime Editor
Shah Shahid is an entertainment writer, movie critic (so he thinks), host of the Split Screen Podcast (on Apple Podcasts & everywhere else) and filmy father on a mission to educate his girls on decades of film history. Armed with uncontrollable sarcasm and cautious optimism, Shah loves discussing film, television and comic book content until his wife’s eyes glaze over. So save her by engaging him on his own blog at BlankPageBeatdown.com or on Twitter @theshahshahid.
