Avengers 5 New Characters Will Face Major Threats

The director of The Avengers 5, Jeff Loveness, made some statements about the experience that the new Marvel characters will have. This new movie will bring the Phase IV characters to face a rival that will be superior to Thanos. The filmmaker commented that they would be thrown into the fire after fighting Kang the Conqueror.

This is a strong start for new characters, such as Sam Wilson’s Captain America. Also, the new Black Panther, or new characters as are the cases of Shang Shi, Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, and even Cassie Lang, could start her activities as a heroine in Ant-Man 3.

The MCU’s New Heroes Will Have a Tough Time

The new Marvel characters of Phase IV will go through torment after facing Kang the Conqueror. This was stated by Lovennes, the director of Avengers 5, explaining that this character similar to Thanos in power. This will lead the group to unite and even bring new elements to fight the tyrant.

We will see the power of the Time Emperor for the first time in Ant-Man 3 when he faces this group of heroes. In fact, in the trailer, he beats the crap out of Scott Lang. It even looks like the hero will sacrifice himself because of a comment he makes at the end of the short. This suggests that the new heroes must pull out every ounce of power to defeat this powerful being.

In the statements with GamesRadar, the director of The Avengers 5 said, “As I’m building to Avengers I want it to feel like a generational struggle. Phase 4 felt like the birth of new characters. You’re giving everyone a little bit of a breath, you’re broadening out the universe, you have fun Disney Plus shows that are elevating characters”.

He later said, “And now I think it’s time to put the pedal to the gas again, and really take all these new characters that we like and throw them into the fire”.

He then finished his comments, “Kang is a top-tier, A-list Avengers villain. What do you do when you feel you’re not enough against that? How do you step up to face the challenge of this generation, who is Thanos on an exponential level? He’s almost this infinite Thanos”.

Another who commented on the matter was Peyton Reed, the director of Ant-Man 3, who said that his film would be the one that sets up the events of Avengers 5. He said, “I think it has a profound impact on the MCU. Jeff Loveness, who wrote this movie, is writing The Kang Dynasty as well, so there’s been a lot of discussion about the impact that this appearance of Kang The Conqueror makes. There are big things in store.

Which Superheroes will we See in Avengers 5?

There are already several confirmed heroes, such as Captain America, with Wilson replacing Steve Rogers and Shuri’s Black Panther.
