After a long wait, we finally have the official release date for Bridgerton season 3. Find out everything we know about Netflix’s upcoming installment in the favorite regency franchise.

Bridgerton Season 3 Release Date

Nearly a year after season 2 of Bridgerton aired on Netflix, Lady Whistledown has finally revealed the release date of the upcoming season.

In a typical Netflix manner, Bridgerton season 3 will consist of 2 parts. Moreover, the season will consist of eight episodes. The first four episodes will finally air on May 16. Subsequently, the final four episodes will arrive on June 13, 2024. Fans can expect more drama, romance, and intrigue as the story of the Bridgerton (and Featherington) family unfolds.

Despite showing utmost respect for Penelope, mainly as a friend, Colin Bridgerton might have a change of heart when he returns from his travels. Will Colin finally realize Penelope’s true feelings? Will Penelope continue to give him a cold shoulder, or will she confess? What will happen to Lady Whistledown’s column?

Bridgerton’s Season 2 Recap

Looking back, season two of the show premiered on Netflix in March 2022, much to the delight of fans who had been eagerly waiting.

Phoebe Dynevor made a brief comeback as Daphne Bridgerton. Although Regé Jean-Page did not return as the famous Duke of Hastings, the second season was a hit with fans. However, Jonathan Bailey did reprise his role as Anthony Bridgerton.

Bridgerton season 2 mainly focused on Anthony Bridgerton’s love story. This meant that there would be some new faces to the franchise. We got to meet lovely sisters by the names of Kate Sharma and Edwina Sharma.

While both Phoebe Dynevor and Regé Jean-Page officially confirmed that they won’t be returning to the franchise, Bridgerton season 3 leaves enough space for sparks between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope to grow into something deeper and more meaningful. Additionally, we may even see the beginning of Eloise’s love story!
