New Released Image Shows Blue Beetle’s Suit!

Empire Magazine released an exclusive image of Xolo Maridueña in his new Blue Beetle Super Suit. The caption says this suit is “The Coolest Suit There Is,” according to Maridueña’s statements.

There are few movies left for the DCEU to start the beginning of a new big-screen history of this comic book world due to its failures at the box office. One of the remaining movies is Blue Beetle, with Xolo Maridueña as the teenager who deals with the alien beetle.

They recently released an image of Blue Beetle’s appearance, ready for the fight against his enemies. The image and even the movie seem promising, although there are some concerns about the character. This is due to the change of direction that Peter Safran and James Gunn will make.

New Image Shows the Superhero’s Suit

In an Empire Magazine publication, the public enjoyed a sample of the new Blue Beetle’s suit in an action scene. In the picture, we can detail how Jaime Reyes creates a kind of sword using the abilities given to him by the alien scarab.

The version of Blue Beetle that we will soon see in the movie theater will be that of a young man who has just graduated and is looking for peace and quiet in his hometown. However, that’s the least he will find because, in a job interview, he receives a box that will change his life.

Inside it is the blue beetle, which would infiltrate his body, giving him abilities such as creating the armor we saw in the image. It also allows him to create all kinds of sword or laser weapons. The problem will not be the scarab itself but the villains who want to use his power for evil. They will go after Jaime and use his family to get to him and the arsenal of weapons and men to achieve their goals.

So Jaime will have to learn to handle the scarab’s powers, preventing it from killing him. He must also protect his family from the organization that pursues them. Therefore, it will be a pretty tough adventure for the beginning of this new hero.

Blue Beetle’s Destiny in the new DCEU

One of the existing doubts about Blue Beetle is whether he will last in the new DC’s history. This is considering that many DCEU characters will disappear and the recent rumor that Sasha Calle’s Supergirl would not appear in Gunn and Safran’s new plot because of the results of The Flash movie in the cinema.

It is unlikely that she has a guaranteed exit from DC, considering that she is a new character on the big screen, plus she has good potential, according to Gunn’s comments. In fact, this filmmaker commented at the beginning of taking over the board of DC Studios that this character could continue in the new saga that they are going to build,

However, the definitive answer may be the box-office performance of this movie in theaters. Before the release of The Flash, there was talk of a sequel. However, the failure of the box office put an end to that. It is likely that with good streaming revenue in theaters she could continue in the DC world and even in the main plot.

Whether or not Sasha Calle will continue in DC is still to be seen, although, for some, it is quite likely, since the few positive reviews that this production had, revolved around the actress and her character.

We will have to wait until August 17, 2023, to see what kind of movies Warner and DC show and if they can break their bad streak in releases. For now, Shazam 2 and The Flash could not. We must see what Blue Beetle can do to change this reality.
