The Big Bang Theory series has a new spinoff in development. This series is arguably one of the most successful franchises at Warner Bros. Television. It ran for 12 seasons, and audiences grew fond of its nerdy protagonists. Even the spinoffs it presented, such as Young Sheldon, impacted the public at the time.

The success of this franchise generated the development of a new production called Big Bang. Unlike the series mentioned above, it will not be broadcast on the channel but on a streaming platform. The announcement of this new filming implies that we would not have this saga on The Warner Channel.

Warner announced through its press service a new The Big Bang Theory spinoff. It will be co-produced by Chuck Lorre, the creator of the initial series and the Young Sheldon spinoff. From comments in the news, the new product is already in the early stages of development.

The plot of The Big Bang Theory spinoff had few details. However, there are several leaks or rumours about what it could be. The first one is that it will have a new main cast and that there could be cameos from some of the original series characters. Another rumor would indicate that the series would be approximately one hour long.

Many expected The Big Bang Theory spinoff to appear on The Warner Channel, like the two previous spinoffs, but that will not be the case. Big Bang will be broadcast through Max, the streaming platform resulting from the merger of Discovery + and HBO Max. This could indicate that both companies are attempting to boost their platform and compete with Netflix and Disney.

Big Bang will be produced by Chuck Lorre Productions, with the filmmaker also participating as executive producer. With this, he would already have two productions within the new Max platform and others made at Warner Channel, such as Two and a Half Men. Other executive producers of the new saga are Jorge Garcia, Andrea Anders, Vanessa Ferlit, Lorre, Nick Bakay, Omar J. Dorsey and Maniscalco are executive producers.

Warner’s Successful Franchise

The Big Bang Theory is undoubtedly the series with the greatest impact on the Warner Channel this millennium. The series ran for 12 seasons, airing from 2007 to 2019. During this time, it entertained 19 million viewers. It should even be noted that the wishes of the production did not end the series, but some of the main characters wished not to continue.

However, its ending did not mean that the success stopped in this franchise since the Young Sheldon spinoff had an exciting success in the channel. It already has 6 seasons telling us the story of The Big Ban Theory’s eccentric character and how his childhood was. It should also be added that its seventh season is already approved, so there will be much more comedy to enjoy.

We wonder when The Big Bang Theory spinoff will be available. According to the rumors, it will probably be by the end of 2023 or even 2024. The Max streaming platform, which is not active yet, will start on May 23rd and will be available only in the United States. The rest of the world will be able to enjoy it by the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024. Considering its impact on Latin America and Europe, Warner will likely take advantage of this saga to boost the launch of this spinoff.

Warner plans to premiere the series on its new Max platform. However, this production may come to Warner Channel, although this will take time.
