A New Loki Trailer Is Here To Protect The Timeline From Trickster Gods
There is only a few months to go before Loki drops into the Disney+ timeline. And a new trailer reveals more of what to expect from the upcoming MCU series. The success of WandaVision has firmly cemented the MCU shows as contenders for some of the best Marvel content. And soon it will be Loki‘s time to shine on the small screen, with a premiere date set for June.
Loki Signs Up To Fix His Broken Timeline In New Trailer
The new trailer confirms some of our theories about Loki. Namely that the agency Loki finds himself captured by/working for is the TVA – the Time Variance Agency. Their job is to protect the timelines, and after Loki picked up the Tesseract (again) in Avengers: Endgame, he spawned a new timeline. This is the alternate world that Loki inhabits, and it will further set up the multiverse as we head into the next Doctor Strange film due next year. Along with WandaVision, it is clear that Loki may be one of the most important MCU shows coming up. Both of these series will help to serve as connective tissue between the previous phase of the MCU that ended with Avengers: Endgame and Phase 4 – which began with Spiderman: Far From Home.

The new Loki trailer sees our favorite trickster god teaming up with Owen Wilson’s Mobius and the rest of the Time Variance Agency to (allegedly) help fix the timelines that he has broken. Loki claims he can be a team player; that he can be trusted, and that he will play his part. But he also claims that he is ten steps ahead of everyone. And from what we have seen in the past, that claim is very likely true. If there is one thing we know about Loki, its that he will play whatever role is set up for him as long as it serves his own agenda. What Loki’s plan truly is remains a mystery right now, but we’ll find out.
