Hollywood will return to the Super Bowl LVII to present the trailers for upcoming releases during the halftime show. The Super Bowl is one of the most eye-catching events in the sporting world. Many companies often use this event to sponsor their new products and services. Hollywood studios are no exception, taking advantage of the Super Bowl LVII halftime to promote new productions.

Some of the most awaited film trailers will appear in this year’s event. We will most likely see trailers for short series from streaming platforms, such as Netflix or Paramount +. One thing for sure is that spectators will enjoy both the game and the show that will take place during the intermission.
Hollywood Shows up at the Super Bowl LVII
The Super Bowl movie presentations were paused because of the pandemic and low attendance in cinemas. However, now they are back with trailers and presentations of upcoming releases.
Among the studios that would be taking advantage of this event, paying the 6 million dollars that this implies, are Disney, Warner, Paramount, and Universal. Disney would do so through Marvel with the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania previews.

Other films in this halftime show will be The Flash and Fast and Furious X. There are high expectations for these two films, both because of the lateness of their premieres and because of the comments made by the studios. For example, DC director James Gunn declared that Ezra Miller’s film was the best superhero film in the world. There will also be previews of Dungeons and Dragons and Cocaine Bear.
There will also be other productions, such as Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and Screw. These sequels will likely have their part in the Super Bowl LVII.
Between all these films, around 58 million dollars will be invested on an estimate. It may seem excessive; however, it is worth it for all studios. Film trailers are the best way to create intrigue about a film and attract the general public’s attention.
Other S-Bowl Thrills
At halftime of the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles on 12 February this year, we will see other thrills, though not from the movies. Several series, either new seasons, could be presented at this event. We hear several from Netflix and some rumors from Marvel.

Among the series we could have from Netflix are the thriller Stranger Things, The Squid Games, and Bridgerton. Although not confirmed, it would make sense to have upcoming seasons because of all these shows’ popularity.
Despite not being announced, and it could be presented at the Star Wars Celebration event, we could see the Ahsoka series. The spin-off of Anakin Skywalker’s former Padawan could boost the audience. Other productions we are said to be seeing are a biopic of a golfer called Full Swing and a commentary by GM, which will be about one minute long.
