If you’ve ever daydreamed about being one of the Avengers, then you’re about to get your chance. Chris Evans joined Instagram this week. As part of the All In Challenge, Evans used his first post to announce that he’s getting the band back together. Specifically, he’s organizing an Avengers virtual hangout. However, not everyone’s invited. Fans can try their luck with an entry in a raffle for charity.
Here’s What the Avengers Virtual Hangout Includes
The winning fan–there can be only one, by the way–will score the opportunity to video-chat for forty minutes with the actors who played the six original Avengers. (That means Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, and Robert Downey, Jr.) According to the official rules, the winner, two of their guests, Chris, and his “super” friends will spend 20 minutes playing board games. Then the winner and their crew can spend the next twenty minutes asking the actors anything in a private chat.
The All In Challenge Foundation is sponsoring this sweepstakes and others. Due to various reasons–widespread unemployment, for example–food insecurity is currently running rampant in the United Stations. So All In hopes to pull off “the largest digital fundraiser in history.” To do so, they’re offering fan experiences like the Avengers virtual hangout. There’s even chances for movie appearances. One lucky dinosaur, for instance, will eat an unlucky winner in the next Jurassic World installment. All In is donating the proceeds from the sweepstakes and auctions to organizations like Meals on Wheels, No Kid Hungry, and America’s Food Fund. America’s Food Fund supports multiple hunger-relief initiatives, by the way.
How to Enter This Sweepstakes (and Others)
Donations for the Avengers experience or others start at $10. That will earn you ten entries. The next level is $25, which also earns the same number of entries. If you donate $50 or $100, though, then your chances double. The last rung, $100, is the highest you can go, though. (200 entries is the limit for each sweepstakes.) However, the legal minds behind the contests don’t limit you to one. In other words, you can donate to win multiple prizes. And then they’ll choose the winners at random. (Note: As with any contest, there is also a free way to enter. In addition, you can just donate to the challenge directly.)
Don’t forget, though, there are also auctions, if you’re really determined to get that special prize. Some prizes do repeat in both categories, after all, like the Jurassic World experience. But don’t dilly-dally; some of these auctions and sweepstakes are ending as soon as next week. Hope you win! (Uh, unless it’s the experience that I’m going to donate for, in which case, I’ll think of you when I win.)
