State of Play 2024 Video Game Updates

The first State of Play event by PlayStation for 2024 is here. The event holds new information about various PS5 and PS VR2 games that are coming soon, so stay tuned to find out the latest news about your favorite video games! 

State of Play 2024 News

The first State of Play event of 2024 took place on January 31st, and we finally have important video game updates for you! 

• Helldiver kicks off on February 8th, 2024. 
• We got to see the official trailer for Stellar Blade. Showcasing the world of Stellar Blade, the event revealed the gameplay of the upcoming game. The game will follow Eve on her mission to save Earth. Moreover, players will have unlimited options and skills to unlock, as well as numerous missions to complete. This state-of-the-art video game will be available on April 26th, 2024. 

• PlayStation just revealed the first official trailer for Zenless Zone Zero, an anime-like RPG video game in development for PS5. 
• VR fans got to see a sneak peek of the gameplay for Metro Awakening, a VR game that’s arriving in 2024. 
• From slaying dragons, upgrading weapons, unlocking skill mastery, to wielding elements! Does it get any better? The Dragon’s Dogma II is officially coming on March 22nd, 2024. It’s currently available for pre-orders. 
• Set in 1858, Yokohama, Rise of the Ronin shows the rise of the Japanese empire. Apart from combat elements and amazing scenery, the official release date of this video game is also set for March 22nd, 2024. 
• In addition, the new official trailer for Death Stranding 2 has been released, showcasing the return of Higgs. Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding 2 is coming in 2025. 
• Lastly, State of Play is coming back on 2024 to reveal exclusive informacion about Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. 

Silent Hill 2 New Information Revealed 

Finally, we finally have new information about the Silent Hill franchise. The official trailer showcased during the State of Play event revealed the gameplay of the upcoming Silent Hill video game. Titled Silent Hill: The Short Message, the game will be available for all PS users to play for free. And just when you thought that PlayStation would disappoint you, we finally know that the Silent Hill 2 remaster is officially in works by PlayStation!
