Black Butler Season 4 Release Date & Main Plot Revealed

Black Butler Season 4 Details

Almost 10 years after season 3 of Kuroshitsuji wrapped up, we finally have exciting news for the fans! As announced on the official website of the anime on December 14, 2023, the anime is getting a fourth installment. Here’s everything we know about the sequel. 

For the fourth season, Black Butler will be under the direction of Kenjirou Okada. Ryo Kawasaki, the talented composer behind To Your Eternity, will be in charge of the music. Additionally, screenwriter Hiroyuki Yoshino, a familiar name in the occult anime genre, will be returning from Season 1. Yoshino has previously worked on notable series such as Dance in the Vampire Bund and Strike the Blood. 

The animation for the Black Butler will be handled by CloverWorks. This renowned studio is responsible for numerous popular titles including The Promised Neverland, Wonder Egg Priority, My Dress-Up Darling, and the highly acclaimed Spy x Family. Kuroshitsuji Season 4 Release Date 

Apart from the plot, the official release date for Black Butler season 4 is April 13th, 2024. With less than two months until the release, you have just enough time to binge-watch the previous seasons! 

Black Butler’s comeback arrives back-to-back with another iconic anime of the 2010s, Blue Exorcist, which is making a grand return. Black Butler last aired almost ten years ago, from July to September 2014, while Blue Exorcist will be returning after a seven-year hiatus in January 2024.
