Fans Want Chukwudi Iwuji To Replace Jonathan Majors As Kang The Conqueror
Chukwudi Iwuji’s participation as the High Evolutionary, the villain in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, left many fans speechless. The actor played such an evil character that, from the beginning, users felt a mix of fear and rage towards him.
The outstanding participation of the actor, together with the doubt if Jonathan Majors would be able to play Kang the Conqueror again, led several fans to request Iwuji to be the new Conqueror of Worlds. Although Majors hasn’t officially lost his role as Kang, fans are voicing their ideas on who they want as Majors’ replacement.

Marvel’s Current Dilemma
Marvel has a problem: who will portray Kang the Conqueror, the main villain of Phase V. Jonathan Majors currently plays this villain, who appeared in Loki and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. However, the actor’s problems with the law for alleged domestic violence put his tenure in doubt.
The situation of Majors is critical, considering that Marvel executives would not place someone with that stigma in its productions. Even though there is no court decision indicating his guilt, the company cannot wait much longer to continue with the plot and start with the development of The Avengers: Secrets Wars and The Avengers: Kang Dynasty.

Fans posted a solution that may be valid, given the plot of the Marvel universe. They want Chukwudi Iwuji as the new villain of Phase V, turning the High Evolutionary into another variant of Kang the Conqueror. Many argue about this possibility because of the difference between the two actors and the problems it may bring.
It is evident from what we’ve seen in James Gunn’s elaborate plot and Chukwudi Iwuji’s performance that the character is incredibly evil and sadistic; so he would pass as a suitable variant of Kang. The question would be whether it’s possible to adapt the story to this actor and remove Majors from his role.
Could Chukwudi Iwuji be Kang the Conqueror?
The possibility exists, and Marvel has no issues changing the history from the comics to adapt to their movies. Comments on social media indicate that the only problem could be the difference in appearance between Iwuji and Majors. Meanwhile, other fans say the appearance would matter little, given the multiversal plot of Marvel’s Phase V. The company already showed that it is possible to have several characters with different appearances in both Spider-Man: No Way Home and Loki. In the former, we saw the three different versions of Spider-Man: Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.

If we quote one of Kevin Feige’s famous phrases, “In the Multiverse, everything is possible”, Iwuji could be the new Kang the Conqueror of worlds without a problem. The actor’s quality was proven in the third part of Guardians of the Galaxy.
The only obstacle is the decision Marvel makes about the character and, if they continue with Majors, remove him and, if so, who they put in the character. Kevin Feige did not make a statement on the matter for now, although rumors indicate that the search for a new replacement has already begun.
For now, many maintain their expectations in Majors’ trial, especially with the precedent created by the controversial case of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. In this case, it could be proven that the actor was falsely accused of the crimes of violence towards a woman and was cleared of any shame. The defense of the current Marvel villain claims that it is a similar case, so we will have to wait to determine if there is a verdict before there is any change.
