One-Punch Man Video Game Officially in Works by Perfect World

Crunchyroll Games has exciting news for fans of One-Punch Man. They have announced the upcoming release of a One-Punch Man video game! Check out everything there is to know about the game.

Crunchyroll officially announced the making of a new online multiplayer action game called One-Punch Man: World. Developed by Perfect World, the upcoming One-Punch Man video game is based on the popular manga by ONE and Yūsuke Murata. Moreover, the game will launch in 2023 for Windows PC, iOS, and Android, and will offer cross-platform play and progression.

The game will be free-to-play, with optional in-app purchases available. In addition, the pre-registration is now open for players in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Latin America, and Nordic countries! One-Punch Man: World will feature beloved heroes from the series, including Saitama, Genos, Speed-o-Sound Sonic, Mumen Rider, and Puri-Puri Prisoner. Players will be able to take on missions at the Hero Association and team up with others for exciting raids.

Moreover, the battle system will involve timed dodges, skill combos, and ultimate abilities, offering thrilling and action-packed gameplay. Additionally, players can engage in side activities and enjoy mini games!

One-Punch Getting Season 3? 

Fans of One-Punch Man have even more to look forward to with the upcoming third season of the anime. The manga, created by Yūsuke Murata and ONE, made its debut in 2012 on Shueisha’s “Tonari no Young Jump” website. It is a remake of ONE’s original web manga of the same name. Shueisha recently published the 28th volume of the manga on June 2.

Viz Media has been releasing the series digitally in its Weekly Shonen Jump manga anthology, as well as in print format. The story follows Saitama, a superhero who defeats any opponent with just one punch, leaving him in search of a worthy adversary.

Firstly, the debut season of the anime aired in Japan from October to December 2015, gaining popularity among fans worldwide. Viz Media and Daisuki streamed the series outside of Japan, and it later premiered with an English dub on Adult Swim’s Toonami block in July 2016. Viz Media also released the first season on home video in North America.

In addition, the second season premiered in April 2019, and Viz Media acquired the master license for its distribution in North America, Latin America, and Oceania.

The upcoming third season was confirmed in the 215th chapter of the manga, and fans were treated to a teaser visual drawn by Chikashi Kubota, the character designer for the previous seasons. This announcement has generated excitement and anticipation among fans, who eagerly await the return of One-Punch Man to their screens.
