The Official Cast of Obi-Wan Kenobi for Disney+ Is Here, and We’re Impressed
We’re always excited to hear more Star Wars news. Though it may seem like we have been getting a lot of it lately, from the recent wrap-up of the sequel trilogy to many upcoming series, this news might be some of the most exciting yet! Thanks to a recent announcement, we have learned who all of the official cast members of the Disney+ series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, are. Oh, and to make things more exciting, production is about to get started!
The Cast of Obi-Wan Kenobi For Disney+ Is Here
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series will tell a story set ten years after Revenge of the Sith, following Anakin Skywalker’s turn to the dark side. Considering how there is a massive nineteen-year gap between the film and A New Hope, we’re positive that there are plenty of tales to cover. We had already known that Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen would be reprising their roles of Ben Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, but we’ve learned even more actors thanks to Twitter.
McGregor and Christensen will be joined by Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie. This incredible cast comes from all different corners of the galaxy, and we’re eager to see the diversity of storytelling that they bring to the table!

The cast of the Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi series will be bringing you some action in 2022. Unfortunately, we don’t have an exact date yet. But considering how the show is about to jump into production, we’re certain that we’ll be hearing a lot more about this show in the near future!
If you missed it, I recently had my first watch of Star Wars: A New Hope earlier this month. And no, I can’t give you a good reason for what took me so long. However, my newfound love of the franchise has me pretty hyped for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+, especially with the official cast announcement. And I haven’t even made it to the prequels yet! So, be sure to let us know the excitement that you’re feeling in the comments below.
