The HOTD season 2 trailer is officially out, and we are here to break it down for you. This upcoming installment of the Game of Thrones prequel will focus on the Dance of the Dragons. Moreover, this civil war that will bring chaos to Westeros.

House of the Dragon season 1 concluded with the tragic demise of Lucerys Velaryon, the son of Rhaenyra Targaryen.  Rhaenyra was previously devoured by Aemond Targaryen’s dragon Vhagar. This event appears to ignite a fire within the queen. Moreover, this event is directly hinting at the forthcoming blood-soaked conflict that will involve the newly introduced characters. The presence of the new characters will undoubtedly play a significant role as the civil war commences.

House of the Dragon Cast Additions

With a total of eight episodes, the new season of the GoT prequel will premiere on HBO in the summer of 2024.
