Shazam! Fury Of The Gods Runtime Leaked

The premiere of one of the latest DCEU movies is approaching. We are referring to Shazam Fury of the Gods. Much information came out about the movie, such as its trailer, the villains of this filming and some plot details. Now it was leaked the duration of this movie, which will be very similar to its prequel.

In this one the directors and members of the cast and production team comment that there will be a lot of emotion in this new sequel. We will also see Billy Batson, who is portrayed by Asher Anger and Zachary Levi trying to keep the family together and be a hero at the same time.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods Runtime Revealed

The running time of the upcoming Shazam Fury of the Gods was leaked, revealing that it will be 2 hours and 10 minutes long. This would imply that it will be quite similar in length to its prequel which lasted 2 hours and 12 minutes. This time we will see different aspects of Billy Batson’s life and his struggles in each of these. 

In the first movie we saw how he formed a family, with some orphaned children and shared his powers with them. However, in this film, he discovers that it is not easy to form a team and keep the family together. The director David Sandberg stated the following:

“In the movie, Billy – Shazam – he’s trying to keep the family together but everyone’s sort of doing their own thing, they haven’t really learned how to work together. Especially like Freddy, he just wants “Yeah, I’m gonna be a superhero on my own. Why do we have to do everything together?” So the movie is sort of about them having to learn to work together and be a superhero team.”

As the team leader, he must figure out how to unite them so they can work together. She will also have to try to save the world from the villains of this production. They are the daughters of the god Atlas, who are looking for the powers that were supposedly stolen from their father and will do anything to get them.

What we know About the New DC Movie So Far

As for the Shazam Fury of the Gods, we know the plot, where these goddesses seek to recover their father’s divine powers. They will summon dangerous creatures that threaten the world and it will be the team’s job to save the world. The trailer shows how each member is losing their powers except for Billy.

Also how they free the sorcerer Shazam who is held captive by these beings. He tells Billy that he must make a difficult decision that could change the world. He may have to give up his powers to save his family, friends and the entire planet.

As for the cast of Shazam Fury of the Gods, we have Asher Anger and Zachary Levi who play both versions of Levi. We also have Grace Fulton, Asher Angel, Rachel Zegler, Jack Dylan Grazer, Marta Milans, Meagan Good and Michelle Borth. As for the direction, we have David Sandberg leads it.

As for its release, it will be on March 17, 2023. Being one of the last films of the DCEU, along with The Flash, Aquaman 2 and The Blue Beetle.
