Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac Together In Beyond The Spider-Verse Movie?

One of the most relevant characters in the new Spider-Man: Across Spider-Verse movie is undoubtedly Miguel O’Hara, also known as the Spider-Man 2099. Oscar Isaac was in charge of voicing this arachnid from the future and received good reviews for his performance in the production. He commented in an interview about the possibility of Pedro Pascal’s participation in the next movie. The Moon Knight actor indicated which character he would like him to play since he would go well with the characteristics of his friend. He also stated about the strong relationship that both actors have created over the years.

Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac In The Same Beyond The Spider-Verse?

In an interview, the Spider-Man 2099 actor commented on who he would like to be in the next production. Oscar Isaac stated that he would like Pedro Pascal, the star of The Last US series, to join the cast. He indicated they could look for any role for him, although he would have a future as an old cantankerous arachnid. Isaac commented on this subject as follows:

“Let’s find something for him. He should be a Spider-Person, like a cranky, old Spider-Person”.

About Oscar Isaac and Pedro Pascal’s relationship, the former pointed out that they had started their career practically together; since 2005, they started acting in a Broadway play that paid them 500 dollars a week. The actor said that from the beginning, they forged a great friendship until today.

Isaac said that since then, they have been friends and made some movies together. Some works that Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac did together are the Triple Frontier movie and the Star Wars universe. Isaac commented that Pascal is a bit naughty on stage, always making jokes while they are filming. About this, he commented on some events that happened in a filming process in which they were involved. About this, he stated:

“His level of naughtiness onstage during that play, for example. He played a ghost, which meant that the living characters in the story could not see him. I had to do my scenes, and he would physically be there, but because my character couldn’t see him, he could fuck with me, all in front of live audiences, as much as he wanted, trying to get me to crack up or forget my lines. The memory is simultaneously dark and wonderful”.

Oscar Isaac commented that he and Pedro Pascal have a great friendship, indicating that this has passed through time. The Moon Knight actor indicated that apart from the passion for art, the goals and the similar past of these actors make them compatible. On this, he commented that both are children of immigrants who came to the United States to get ahead, but it was never that easy. In this regard, he stated:

“We’re both children of Latin immigrants, so there’s sort of a cultural familiarity, then at the same time we’re both actors, We have the same dreams.”.

Currently, we know that Oscar Isaac will participate in the next production of Sony’s Spider-Verse, although we still don’t know if his friend Pedro Pascal will join him. 

The future of Oscar Isaac’s arachnid Spider-Man 2099, the actor commented that the plot is building and could tie into the real world. This could open the possibilities for Pedro Pascal to participate in that universe.

He could also appear in other productions related to the Spider-Verse, as is the supposed case of the Spin-Off of the character Gwen Stacy by Migue Ohara.
