Actor Jonathan Majors Recast Confirmed By Insider Daniel RPK

There’s been a rift in the industry Insider community in recent weeks. Following the official firing of Jonathan Majors from Marvel as Kang the Conqueror, we have reliable sources reporting completely different things about Marvel Studios’ future plans. Some say Doom will replace Kang, and others have even started talking about his casting. Meanwhile, insiders like Daniel RPK have claimed that Jonathan Majors Kang will be recast, but the character will not be dropped by Marvel Studios.

This we have discussed even months before the trial. Now, after the trial and months later, a Kang recast is exactly what would have to happen if Marvel Studios plans to keep that character involved in any way in the Multiverse Saga. Daniel Rickman has provided the first name that has come up as a possible candidate to replace Jonathan Majors as Kang.

Jonathan Majors Recast as Kang Confirmed

According to Industry Insider Daniel Rickman, Colman Domingo could be a candidate. However, he describes him as “still in the early stages” to replace Jonathan Majors as Kang.

Colman Domingo is down to play a villain for Marvel or DC:

“I think I’m ready now. I’m worked out, fit… I just want to be the villain. I don’t want to be the good guy. I actually want to do some really dirty, nasty work.”

Colman Domingo has worked on numerous television series and films. In addition, he has had award nominations. All this track record makes his consideration for the role credible. However, the highlight here is that Daniel Rickman, is now providing names that could take on the role. This is important because the insider has been saying for some time that a recast would be on the table.

If this is true, we will likely continue to hear more names in the coming weeks as casting speculation intensifies, especially with the Fantastic Four connection and the involvement of Hollywood media in the casting process.
