There’s some hope left for Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers. While the game has experienced a big drop-off, new DLC packages offer the game a new life. The latest Marvel’s Avengers Black Panther DLC got a big preview at E3 2021 and the new add-on looks really great. While the announcement of another Marvel game at the Square Enix press conference took the spotlight, this game is far from over. Square Enix promises to continue supporting the game despite lackluster responses from the public. Gamers are not abandoning the game necessarily. The real issue at launch was a lack of things to do. With new DLC packs comes a greater chance that newcomers come aboard and past players make a return. Check out the Black Panther DLC overview below!

How Much Will the Marvel’s Avengers Black Panther DLC Cost?

In the latest DLC pack for Marvel’s Avengers, Black Panther must defend Wakanda from Klaw, who seeks to steal Vibranium for his own desires. It’s a simple premise but the cinematic gameplay trailer looks quite captivating. The new DLC was announced alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy Square Enix game coming later this fall. We won’t have to wait that long for the Black Panther content, however, which arrives in August 2021.

The last DLC pack, a Marvel’s Avengers Hawkeye reveal, received good feedback from fans. The inclusion of new characters to the game helps diversify the otherwise repetitive gameplay. While an overall player decline is causing multiplayer problems, the game is still plugging along. Games as a service rely on players to continue pushing the experience forward. Hopefully, the inclusion of one of the most popular Marvel characters in popular culture can help that cause.

The Black Panther DLC releases in August 2021 and comes to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. If you’re still playing this Marvel game, then let us know in the comments. Thanks for reading Comic Years for all things gaming, comics, and pop culture!
