Epic regularly features great games on their store for free simply to draw people to the platform. With Steam having a bit of a head start in the online games store market, it’s a good way to catch up. Furthermore, if you haven’t played these games, then it’s hard to say no when they are free. There are a few things you should know first.

Thanks to the game’s player base and the fact it’s a Star Wars game, the multiplayer modes are still very active. Even on consoles, you can find games quite easily. There are a lot of great modes to check out, essentially allowing you to live out your own Star Wars battles. It’s a blast to get to play as the normal Stormtroopers or Rebels, but when you score enough points, you get even more options. Play as Obi-Wan from the prequels, Darth Vader, or even Yoda across a few different points in his life.
Even if you’re a little interested in this game, I’d recommend it. I come back to it often when I want something to do for a little bit of time. There’s no doubt that the free status on the Epic Games Store will also lead to more players in the game.
