Epic regularly features great games on their store for free simply to draw people to the platform. With Steam having a bit of a head start in the online games store market, it’s a good way to catch up. Furthermore, if you haven’t played these games, then it’s hard to say no when they are free. There are a few things you should know first.

Firstly, you’ll need an Epic Games Store account. This helps you keep track of all your purchases. It’s easy and free to sign up. Secondly, the game isn’t just the base game. There are a lot of great modes to check out, essentially allowing you to live out your own Star Wars battles. It’s a blast to get to play as the normal Stormtroopers or Rebels, but when you score enough points, you get even more options. Play as Obi-Wan from the prequels, Darth Vader, or even Yoda across a few different points in his life.

Even if you’re a little interested in this game, I’d recommend it. I come back to it often when I want something to do for a little bit of time. There’s no doubt that the free status on the Epic Games Store will also lead to more players in the game.
