A new trailer for the third season of the Amazon Prime Video series has just been released. Next June 3 we will have the first 3 episodes available. The Boys new trailer is very striking and gives us several clues about the direction the series will take. Last March 12th we could see the first teaser of the new season. Now we could see the appearance of a new character, Soldier Boy. In this new footage, we can learn more about the motivations of each character in this new installment. But above all, we will have a Homelander unleashed, something we fan love.

The Boys New Trailer Madness is Guaranteed

The Boys, has just shared the new official trailer for Season 3. In it we can see Soldier Boy, played by Jensen Ackles known for playing Dark Angel on Smallville, starring in an intense action scene. The good news is that in the premiere we will be able to enjoy a good marathon of the series. The producers confirmed that 3 episodes will premiere on June 3, and the rest on Friday of each week.

The director of The Boys, Eric Kripke, has already warned that we will see the characters unleashed in this new installment. As we already saw in the first two seasons, in this universe a large corporation controls superheroes. This company is called Vought International, and they treat the heroes as if they were products to be monetized. They even have their own public relations team, who control the private lives of the characters.

However, superheroes are often people with very questionable behavior, committing crimes and atrocities behind the public’s back. This situation is what the protagonists, The Boys, want to bring to light. These are people who fight against both the corporation and the superheroes.

What We’ll See in the New Episodes of the Series

If you haven’t seen the second season we recommend you do, because the series is spectacular. We will be pulling SPOILERS so watch out. Season 2 The Boys ended with the death of Butcher’s wife and the apparent dissolution of the team. However, we know they will reunite, most likely in an attempt to take down the Patriot, who is completely unleashed. Since thankfully Queen Maeve was able to restrain the leader of the Seven from backing down at the end. We already know that Homelander will be beastly in this new season, as it was confirmed by actor Anthony Starr himself.

The Boys new trailer has given us a lot of information about what we can expect from these new chapters. The most important thing is that we will have a completely unstable Homelander. In the trailer we can see how he tears someone apart (literally), and people applaud him. For her part, Queen Maeve offers Compound V to Billy Butcher in order to defeat the villain. This substance will give Butcher powers for 24 hours, and it’s sure to be brutal.

It is also confirmed that the very rather murky part that was portrayed in the comics will be adapted. This part, titled Herogasm, is very bizarre, and director Eric Kripke has hinted that the episode will be very faithful to the comic. As a huge orgy between “supers”, we will see that.

The Cast of Season 3

As for the cast, the series features actors and actresses of the stature of Anthony Starr (Homelander), followed by Karl Urban (Nilly Butcher), Erin Moriarty (Annie January), Jack Quaid (Hughie Campbell), Jessie T. Usher (A-Train), Dominique McElligott (Queen Maeve), Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Karen Fukuhara (Kimiko Miyashiro), Chace Crawford (The Deep), Tomer Capon (Frenchie), Aya Cash (Stormfront), Giancarlo Esposito (Stan Edgar) Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett), Laila Robins (Grace Mallory), Langston Kerman (Eagle the Archer), Claudia Doumit (Victoria Neuman) and Cameron Crovetti (Ryan), among others.
