The DC Films environment is currently full of intrigue and rumors. The changes being made by the current management of this company have even reached Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman. The actress’s future is in doubt by the departure of almost all members of the old era. Among these are Ben Affleck, who will no longer be Batman, Henry Cavill out of Superman, and Jason Momoa, who is rumored to be playing Lobo.

Another reason the cancellation of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman was in doubt was the cancellation of her third movie. This fact brought many rumors that the actress would be out of DC. Even some tweets from her gave a sense of farewell to the fans.

Due to so many tweets and rumors that ran around the subject of Gal Gadot, one of the directors of DC, James Gunn, spoke out about it. The filmmaker stated the current situation of the actress for several Twitter publications. This denied the rumors circulating and clarified the outlook for her character within the company.

One of the directors of DC Studios, James Gunn, spoke out on Twitter. There are several rumors that the actress Gal Gadot will be out of DC and Henry Cavill. This is upon confirmation of the cancellation of the film Wonder Woman 3 by Patty Jenkins.

On the rumors of Gal Gadot’s departure from DC as Wonder Woman, Gun commented in a publication, “I’m not sure where you’re getting that we ‘booted’ Gal”. Gunn never fired Gadot, which suggests either she is still at DC or she quit and left the studio because of the situation it is facing.

Another who commented on the cancellation of the film was Jenkins herself. She commented on Twitter as follows “I never walked away. I was open to considering anything asked of me. It was my understanding there was nothing I could do to move anything forward at this time. DC is obviously buried in changes they are having to make, so I understand these decisions are difficult right now.”

Gal Gadot also reportedly commented on her situation, implying that she was saying goodbye to the fans or at least to the character. She commented, “A few years ago it was announced that I was going to play Wonder Woman. I’ve been so grateful for the opportunity to play such an incredible, iconic character and more than anything I’m grateful for YOU. The fans. Can’t wait to share her next chapter with you”.

Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman may be in the same situation as Jason Momoa, who will leave the character. However, she could get another one. For example, the actor will stop being Aquaman and be Lobo in this new DC direction.

The new direction of James Gunn and Peter Safran brings a lot of uncertainty to DC Films. At the same time that they are planning a reboot of the universe, they are keeping only a few characters. This could look strange in the future. For example, seeing a younger Superman interacting with our Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman.

The cancellation of the Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, and Ben Affleck movies sparked several rumors. It also sparked a flurry of insults towards the company and the new directors. What has been confirmed by James Gunn is that Henry Cavill is out of DC. The DC writer, director, and executive want his character version. Gal Gadot for the time being, it is not known if she will return as Wonder Woman or play another DC character.

James Gunn commented, “Our choices for the DCU are based upon what we believe is best for the story & best for the DC characters who have been around for nearly 85 years. Perhaps these choices are great, perhaps not, but they are made with sincere hearts & integrity & always with the story in mind”.

He later said, “We were aware there would be a period of turbulence when we took this gig, & we knew we would sometimes have to make difficult & not-so-obvious choices, especially in the wake of the fractious nature of what came before us.”

In the meantime, Gunn and Safran continue to write the new story that DC will tell in its productions. It is known that there will be some off-plot productions, such as Robert Pattinson’s The Batman and the Joker. It is also known that young Blue Beetle characters will be in the new era they are creating.
