If you’re disappointed with the lackluster eShop sale for New Year’s, then you’re in luck. A new Humble Bundle Switch sale is live and it’s pretty good. Overall, Nintendo games published by the company don’t get huge discounts. If you’re holding out for a $20 Mario Kart 8 Deluxe purchase, then you’ll be waiting your entire life. The best way to go about handling sales for Nintendo is wait for something a bit better than usual. I’d argue that a few of the titles included here are fairly discounted for digital Nintendo Switch games. Here’s what you should check out in the sale and what I would recommend you pick up if you want to throw a few bucks at new games this weekend.

The full sale can be found here, but let me point out a few highlights.

Firstly, Super Mario Maker 2 is the gift that keeps on giving. With the World Creator and plenty of active creators online, this game is like an infinite Mario game. If you love the classic platformer, then I’d highly recommend grabbing this at $41.99. Seriously, you get a lot of game for what you’re grabbing here. Secondly, I’ve long sang the praises of Stardew Valley. If you don’t own the game yet, then you seriously need to grab it now. At 30% off, you’re getting one of the best farming and life sims ever for under $11.  It’s a fun game to explore if you’re new to the genre too. Those with plenty of experience in Harvest Moon and similar games are also in for a treat given the depth of Stardew Valley.

A few other Nintendo first-party games like Yoshi’s Crafted World and Kirby: Star Allies are 30% for $41.99. I would never say these games are worth $60. At $42, however, I think fans of Yoshi or Kirby would enjoy these Humble Bundle Switch sale titles. They’re fun games, but they do lack depth and difficulty. I’d say both are particularly great for those of you with children gaming in the house. Lastly, Moving Out is a great party-style game with a good challenge built-in. You can race friends to see who can move boxes from a house to a truck fastest all with the built-in chaos of physics-based movement and controls. It’s a mess from the start in the best way possible.

Let us know what you grab in the sale!
