That said, I’m down for new Pokémon any time I can get it. If you’re curious about the details we know about the game, then consider this a bit of a roundup. We’re still waiting on official announcements, but Pokémon Scarlet and Violet rumors might point to the region and some leaks in features. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Rumors – Possible Hints Left in Sword and Shield

Sunday’s Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Reveal only gave us 3 minutes of a trailer. In that time, we didn’t learn a lot. Overall, we know the starters by name and visual and saw glimpses of the region. That said, it’s common for the Pokémon fandom to dig and find info online. Let’s start talking about leaks that might have been revealed in Sword and Shield that might point to a few Pokémon Scarlet and Violet rumors we’re seeing online.
Firstly, DDD-HERO on Reddit came across a major hint in the last mainline games, Pokémon Sword and Shield. The Hotel Ionia in Circhester features a lobby with a right-hand section roped off. Here, the wallpaper is covered in oranges and grapes. On top of being delicious fruits, we also saw oranges and grapes in the Scarlet and Violet reveal! The user also found colored flowers matching these fruits in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl near Twinleaf Town. These might be fun hints to the existence of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet!
The area being roped off leaves us to wonder whether or not cross-game connectivity might exist for the Switch releases. For example, if you could use this area to send Pokémon between the games, that could be an answer to the Pokédex controversy. In short, fans want all Pokémon included in the Switch games. Game Freak doesn’t want to take that approach, but a cross-game connectivity area could blend two major lineups of Pokémon together.
Do We Know the Region for Gen IX Yet?

We know the starters for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet but rumors are all we have for the region. Given the oranges and grapes showing up a few different places, we might have a guess as to the game’s location. Blood oranges and grapes are well-established fruits in Spain, an area yet to be explored in Pokémon games. If Spain is the region, then connectivity to Sword and Shield would make sense. The Gen VIII Galar Region is based on the United Kingdom. Some European advenures might await us in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
