The first season of the Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi series left many fans of the Star Wars saga satisfied. In this one, we saw the life of the Jedi knight ten years after the empire’s rise and the Jedi order’s collapse. The new galactic adventure showed us how Obi-Wan faces the inquisitors, Vader, but above all, his inner demons. The Jedi presented a lack of faith for his defeat, the death of his Jedi companions, and the betrayal of his ward and friend, Anakin Skywalker. In the end, we got to see Obi-Wan regain his spirit and return to being the Jedi knight he once was.
The series divided the fandom, as usual with Star Wars. However, it left us with memorable moments like the battle between Vader and Kenobi and the cameo of Master Qui Gon Jinn. We also got to see the fight against the Inquisitors and how they presented the beginnings of this group, which became later extinct in Star Wars: Rebels.
Obi-Wan Kenobi’: How was Ben able to talk to Qui Gon Jinn?

Something that many have been waiting for since 2005 is the reunion between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui Gon Jinn. It should be noted that the latter was Obi-Wan Kenobi’s teacher, labeled by the other Masters as a rebel. Even when Yoda and Obi-wan Kenobi talk about Qui Gon Jinn being Anakin’s master, Yoda emphasizes that it is not good for Obi-Wan to inherit his master’s rebelliousness.
We saw this in 1999’s Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, where we know the story of both Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker’s beginnings in the Jedi order. We also see how Qui Gon Jinn emphasizes that there are many types of forces, one in particular called the Living Force.

Qui Gon Jinn says that the other masters focus on the cosmic force, which is what allows them to give him Jedi powers. However, the Jedi master focused on the Living Force, which would enable him to transcend in life. This skill allows Obi-Wan Kenobi to see Qui Gon Jin again in this last chapter.
This reference can also be seen in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Yoda informs Obi-Wan that his master learned how to come back from the dead using force. He also states that he must train to be able to talk to him while he is in the wilderness of Tatooine, caring for Luke Skywalker.
We see this ability more frequently from Star Wars: The New Hope to Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker. In these films, we can see Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda talking in ghost mode with Luke. We also see in the final scene of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, how Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Anakin say goodbye to Luke, seeing that all is well.
The Possible Return of Qui Gon Jinn

In Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, we see how Luke’s ghost talks to Rey and tells her not to be guided by fear. He also explains that Leia knew he was a Palpatine and that he trained her because of who she was and not because of her last name.
Many fans liked seeing Qui Gon Jin and Obi-Wan Kenobi again together. Many had been waiting for this since the dialogue between Yoda and Obi-Wan in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (Episode III). That meeting of master and pupil was expected for many fans, and we may see more of that.

We could see more such scenes should a second series season be confirmed where we would see how Obi-Wan protects Luke Skywalker, considering that this first season focused more on protecting Leia. In a second season, we would see training in this area of Obi-Wan Kenobi with his former master, watching after Luke and following his fight against Vader and the Inquisitors.
Another viable option is for a ghost version of Anakin Skywalker to appear in the Disney+ production, Ashoka. This show will deal with the story of this Jedi knight’s Padawan during the Clone Wars. We could see Anakin’s ghost guiding his rebellious former student, Ashoka Tano.
