From Blood and Ash TV Series

Just weeks after we found out that ACOTAR is getting a TV series, we are now even more excited to learn about the From Blood and Ash TV series! Just when we thought that things couldn’t be better as Jennifer L. Armentrout announced book #5, the news about the live-action hit us like a truck.

The fantasy/romance/dark academy/supernatural novel series consists of 4 novels so far, all of which follow the story of Poppy. We’ll discuss the novel plot later on in the article. For now, here are some of the details about the upcoming From Blood and Ash TV series.

Firstly, the series will be developed by Amazon Prime. Jennifer L. Armentrout will work together with the producer and showrunner Anne Cofell Saunders to create this masterpiece. Sascha Hecks and Luke Ryan will join the writer as producers.

Unfortunately, this is all that we know so far. However, the upcoming From Blood and Ash TV series is definitely one of the most anticipated TV adaptations in the Booktok realm so far! Stay tuned to Comic Years in the near future to find out about the series.

FBAA Novel Franchise by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Consisting of four (soon to be five) main novels and 3 prequel novels, From Blood and Ash is the highly popular fantasy franchise written by Jennifer L. Armentrout. The novel franchise follows the story of Poppy, the Maiden.

As Poppy finds out many dark secrets about her kingdom, she starts to doubt everything she knew up until then. For example, in the first novel, Poppy finds out that the act of ‘ascending’ actually means she will be sacrificed. Among other things, Poppy’s lifeguard and mentor tragically dies, ultimately triggering Poppy’s rebellion.

In addition, her new guard Hawke is hiding a secret of his own. I don’t want to give away too much, so I will just mention some of the important scenes in book #1 so I get your interest. For example, The Willow Scene, The Rite Scene, Vikter, Hawke, The Dark One, The Red Pearl Scene!

Trust me, you shouldn’t sleep on this franchise. Pick up the FBAA books now and get ready for the From Blood and Ash TV series! Our guess for the release date is sometime in 2024!
