There are few actresses whose career we are as excited about as Elizabeth Olsen. Some of her earliest performances include awards-worthy roles like Martha in Martha Marcy May Marlene. And, most recently, she blew us away with her near-flawless portrayal of Wanda Maximoff in WandaVision. While her role as the Scarlet Witch continues, it seems as if she has plenty more upcoming projects to add to her credits. The next move for Elizabeth Olsen is joining Love and Death, an upcoming HBO Max series.
Elizabeth Olsen Joins Love and Death For HBO Max
If there are two things Olsen’s characters tend to deal with, it’s love and death. No, seriously. WandaVision, Sorry for Your Loss, Wind River, Age of Ultron, the list goes on. So, even just looking at the title of this series, it’s evident that the role will be perfect!
Olsen will be playing a real person with the role of Candy Montgomery. Montgomery famously murdered Betty Gore in 1980, over in Wylie, Texas. The story is based on articles from the Texas Monthly and John Bloom and Jim Atkinson’s Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs. David E. Kelley will be writing the series, with director Lesli Linka Glatter (Homelands) behind the camera.

David E. Kelley, Per Saari, and Nicole Kidman will be executive producing the series with their David E. Kelly Productions and Blossom Films companies, respectively. Lionsgate TV will also be behind the series.
Readers, we know that we’re all impatiently waiting for Wanda to return to the MCU in Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness. But hearing that Elizabeth Olsen is joining Love and Death for HBO Max is pretty exciting news to keep us pleased, right? Either way, we’ll be rewatching the WandaVision finale for quite some time.
