There are few films out there as iconic as the original 1984 Ghostbusters. Similarly, few villains are as memorable as the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. This creature is equal parts marshmallow and monster, giving us almost enough reason not to want to eat marshmallows for a bit. In his first appearance, Stay-Puft is seen as a manifestation of Gozer, a powerful entity. Clearly, we can’t have a Ghostbusters film without this ghost to bust because a new Ghostbusters Afterlife clip is bringing him back.

New Ghostbusters Afterlife Clip Brings Back The Puft

In the latest attempt to revive the love for the classic franchise, Ghostbusters: Afterlife will bring back the paranormal after a family moves to their late grandfather’s farm. The world will suddenly begin to change in some big ways, revealing that this isn’t some ordinary farm town. Starring Mckenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, and Paul Rudd, we have a lot of hope with this adaptation.

The character of Stay-Puft was first destroyed by the O.G. Ghostbusting team. The 112.5-foot ghoul may have been defeated. However, the character has popped up in a few different places amongst the franchise, including The Real Ghostbusters. As seen in the above trailer, Stay-Puft is back with a…. vengeance? Mini-Pufts’ character reveal shows a much smaller but far more numerous character as he is discovered by Rudd’s Mr. Grooberson. So far, their shenanigans don’t look too dangerous, but we won’t put it past Pufts to want some revenge.

This new Ghostbusters: Afterlife clip has us all hyped for its release on November 11th, 2021. Feeling nostalgic and want to catch up on the previous films? Take a look at our Ghostbusters retro review or our complete guide to the Ghostbusters!

Now, folks, I have to ask. Is anybody else craving s’mores right now?
