Before we start, we warn you of spoilers for John Wick 4, the last Keanu Reeves movie, released on March 24, 2023. The film left a question mark for viewers who attended its premiere: whether John Wick died this time after four movies eliminating Russian mobsters, members of the High Table, mercenaries and assassins who wanted his head.
There is a chance that the killer died in this product, considering we see Ian McShane’s Winston at the end and Bowery King, played by Laurence Fishburne, paying his respects at his grave. This is next to his wife’s and could imply that the oh-so-dangerous killer met his end.
John Wick Keanu Reeves Future, the Character Died?

John Wick 4 shows how the terrible assassin, played by Keanu Reeves, died from the wounds caused by the duel with Caine, played by Donnie Yen. In the duel with the Asian rival, Wick suffers three wounds that end up causing his death. It seems that John Wick lost the duel with his opponent but it is not what it seems.
The confrontation was joined by Marquis Vincent de Gramont, played by Bill Skarsgard.
He sought to deal the final blow to John Wick, Keanu Reeves’ character was weak from the wounds received in the duel. However, at that moment he had 2 options: eliminate the leader of the High Table and win his freedom or kill Caine, ending the duel.
Finally Wick gets his freedom, although it would not last long as he begins to faint until he died on the steps of the Sacré-Cœur in France. There is concern about whether this character died for two reasons: The first is that he “died” so many times and resurfaced like the phoenix that every time it happens, it generates doubts.
Another reason is that they announced chapter 5 of Jonh Wick, although we do not know if with Keanu Reeves. Lionsgate’s CEO, Jon Feltheimer, declared this new part. This was to be filmed along with the fourth part but it was suspended indefinitely. For his part, the actor who plays the killer, Keanu Reeves, commented that death would be the best ending for his character, since it would give him freedom and peace.

Part 5 is on the Table, but not confirmed, said director Chad Stahelski. The filmmaker said in an interview with Hollywood Reporter that they will take a break from Jonh Wick for the time being, well deserved for actor Keanu Reeves. He also commented that Keanu Reeves has the same opinion and wants to take a break from the character. In conversation with this media, the filmmaker said:
“In our minds, Keanu and I are done for the moment. We’re going to give ‘John Wick’ a rest. I’m sure the studio has a plan. If everyone loves it and it goes kooky, then we’ll take a quiet minute”.
He later commented, “The thought process was, when we had the opportunity after ‘Chapter 3,’ what was the ‘why’?”. Reeves said at a post-screening Q&A at the SXSW Film Festival. “When Chad and I were talking about it, the ‘why’ is death, and it was John Wick’s death. For him to get his peace or his freedom in a way, that was the reason to make the movie. You gotta have the ‘why'”.
It looks like John Wick, portrayed by Keanu Reaves, will take a break. However, it is not the end of the franchise. There are several productions and prequels already announced, such as Ballerina. This one stars Ana de Armas and will portray an assassin named Rooney who seeks revenge for the death of her parents. This movie’s plot is between parts 3 and 4 of Jonh Wick.
Another pending filming is the saga’s prequel that shows The Continental’s origin. In this one, we will see a young Winston and how he is left in charge of the hotel and becomes part of the High Table.
