Random Acts Of Violence Trailer Shows Comic Book Creation In A Horrifying Way

Horror movies have proven that you can make anything scary. Dolls, new houses, the woods, or even sorority houses. You name it, and someone will create a dark and twisted version of it! These kinds of films are also notoriously cheap to create. So, there will never be a shortage of fun slasher movies. The latest horror movie trailer, Random Acts of Violence, imagines what can happen when comic book creation goes wrong. Check out the trailer below!

Random Acts of Violence Trailer Shows A Crazed Comic Book “Fan”

Random Acts of Violence watches on as Todd Walkley (Jesse Williams) and pals head to a New York Comic Con event. Walkley is the creator of Slasherman, a successful, dark, and gory comic book. Things start to get horrifying when people get murdered in ways that mimic the deaths in Slasherman. Will Walkley have to redesign the end to his comic book series in a way that lets everybody live?

Jay Baruchel (How to Train Your Dragon, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice) directed the film and co-wrote with Jesse Chabot, with Elevation Pictures and SND Films as its production company. The plot is inspired by a one-shot comic book of the same name that was published in 2010 by Image Comics. Based on the trailer, the film promises to be a comic book adaptation that goes in a fearless direction that has viewers questioning just how far a fan will go.

The Next Fun Summer Slasher

Random Acts of Violence will release in Canada on July 31, 2020. It will be available for American viewers on August 20th. Shudder, a subscription service known for its horror and supernatural films, will have the film available for streaming.
