The first WandaVision episodes continue their strange and mysterious adventure on Disney Plus. The live-action MCU series began with homages the sitcom format in its first three episodes. The most recent episode, however, sheds a lot of light on everything that’s going on just outside of Westview. With Wanda seemingly stuck in a sitcom world with a now-alive Vision, there are questions abound. We get some answers on episode 4, titled ‘We Interrupt This Program,’ but are they enough? That’s what we discuss on this week’s MCU episode. So check out our WandaVision episode 4 spoiler podcast!

And remember to share your own reactions, thoughts, and wild theories in the comments below!

WandaVision thus far is interesting, mysterious, and completely off the wall, in terms of conventionality and expectations. It’s been a complete ‘what’s going on?’ experience from the jump. But this new episode of WandaVision attempts to fill in some of the gaps and put us on the path to expect explanations in the future. It definitely feels like a response to the complaints from audiences wanting more Marvel connections. And if this was the usual network TV show, being made while earlier episodes are airing, that definitely might be the case. This episode feels like it tries to console audiences early on to let them know that there’s more to come. Personally, I enjoyed the other side of the events that already happened. My guests do have different opinions though.

How Episode 4 Provide Confirms A Big Plot Point

This episode of the Comic Years Podcast breaks down the clues, Easter eggs, homages, and hints at what’s coming. Our TV Editor Meghan Hale makes a great connection between two characters in WandaVision, both dealing with grief in different ways, and how it might link to the main plot. Whereas our managing editor Joshua M. Patton, as usual, spends the Podcast grounding our far-out theories about the show. And our Book Editor Emily O’Donnell has theories about the inhabitants in the city. And as usual, I try to find some even more insane connections, that may or may not exist. (They almost definitely don’t.)

So check out this episode of the Comic Years Podcast for a complete WandaVision episode 4 spoiler discussion.
