The Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer Release Date Revealed

The Mandalorian Season 3 is approaching, and anticipation is growing about what we will see in the trailer. The Lucasfilm team is getting ready to promote this new edition as best as possible. We already know the exact date of the new season’s premiere and the teaser. Expectations are growing, considering that it will be the first preview of this new production of The Mandalorian.

As the date approaches, there are many questions in the air. The first would be the fate of the dark saber and what kind of confrontations we will see between Bo-Katan Kryze and Din Djarin. There is also a possibility of conflict between the protagonist and several of his race for having removed his helmet. The new trailer will surely show us more clues about what we will see in this third season.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer Release Date Revealed

The release date of the new trailer is defined, as well as how the transmission will be made. This will be on January 16, 2023 at the ESPN NFL Super Wild Card Game event. This will be at 8:00 PM E.Ty the trailer will be broadcasted at halftime of this game. It will be similar to what was experienced with the last Ant-Man 3 trailer.

With this new Mandalorian season 3 trailer, the public will be able to detail at least part of the plot of the new sequel of this series. At this point, Din is back on his home planet and is not very well received. So it is likely that we will have a lot of action on that part.

We will also see what fate awaits Grogu, if he awakens some new powers and what enemies both will face. Recall that Luke Skywalker helped both of them out of trouble in the previous season. We may see part of the events after that scene.

Another event we could see in the Mandalorian season 3 trailer is the fate of Din and the Darksaber. In the second season we saw how the protagonist controls this object of the dark side of the force. We will have to wait if he will have to fight to keep it and if he will dominate it or be dominated by this ancient Sith weapon.

What Can we Expect in this New Star Wars Season?

In the third season, Din will likely face his own for the right to be on his planet. We know from the Book of Boba Fett that the protagonist was banished by his race for removing his helmet. For them, that is a sign of degradation or impurity that causes the person to be exiled from the community and the planet.

In the Mandalorian season 3 trailer, we will likely see Din and Grogu go to the sacred pools of the planet Mandalore. These are the only tools the Mandalorian has to be able to purify himself and return to his people. 

This will be one of many problems that the Mandalorian will have on his journey in this third season. The Darksaber, or dark lightsaber, is in his possession, but Bo-Katan is eager to possess this object. He is convinced that this element is rightfully his and will do everything to get it back.

Both Mandalorians will likely use their people on their side of the planet Mandalore to attack the other. This could involve a civil war on the planet between these two leaders.

The creators of this saga Jon Favreau and his lead producer, Dave Filoni, commented that they have several surprises for the audience. Fans are eager to see the fate of Grogu, and hopefully, the Mandalorian season 3 trailer will show us something.

The series will now be broadcast on the Disney + streaming platform, starting March 1, 2023.
