The highly anticipated version of The Last of Us HBO Show has finally released its debut trailer. Fans have been impatiently awaiting a sneak peek of this PlayStation Studios television series since production got underway last year. After filming finished, fans wanted to see more. HBO has already debuted some of the first-ever scenes from The Last of Us, but we’re still waiting on a full trailer for the series.

These new snippets from The Last of Us HBO Show featured in a new ad for programs that comes soon to HBO Max. The majority of the cast members of the program, including Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, and Nick Offerman, showed in the video that was broadcast. Additionally, we hear Pascal and Ramsey converse while catching a peek of a Clicker, one of the zombified foes that exist in this universe. The main controversy still surrounding the show at this time is when it will air on HBO. The network’s administrators have previously only stated that it would debut in the first half of 2023. Unfortunately, HBO’s latest trailer hasn’t done anything to shorten that span and instead has committed to a launch date for the following year. Fortunately, now that we’ve seen some The Last of Us gameplay, more trailers are undoubtedly on the way.

The Last of Us HBO Show development started in 2009, not long after Naughty Dog’s last game, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, came out. Gustavo Santaolalla created and performed the original score.

Three weeks after its release, the game sold over 3.4 million copies, making it the fastest-selling PlayStation 3 title of 2013 at the time and the greatest launch of an original game since 2011’s L.A.
