One of the greatest TV shows on Netflix, She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power Season 4 finally sees a trailer. Seems like, the trailer promises bigger action, bigger story and a much bigger world.

The animated Dreamworks TV show is an original Netflix series that spins off from the 80’s He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe show. The show has quickly become one of Netflix’s most beloved shows, prompting season after season of orders by the streaming giant.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power Goes Beyond Being a Kids Show

Personally speaking, She-Ra is an insanely impressive show. Despite the show seemingly for young kids, the series features some of the greatest character development, storytelling and dynamics of good and evil that I’ve ever seen.

The whole hero-and-villain-were-besties trope has happened a lot. Most notably, Smallville showcased how the deteriorating relationship between hero and villain contribute to a show’s biggest conflict. She-Ra capitalizes on that even more with two young women whose own baggage tear them apart. But it’s never cheap and exploited for the sake of story conflict.

The characters’ arcs have emotional depth and the writers make them earn it. Furthermore, the representation of LGBTQI characters, women and on-screen friendships alone makes She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power worth watching.

Season 4 is Going to be Epic

The recent release of the Season 4 trailer of She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power showcases an expanding world. With Glimmer’s (Karen Fukuhara) mom sacrificing herself, the kingdom of Brighton looks to her as the new Queen. This introduces a new power dynamic to a character that was always the underdog.

Season 4 of She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power sees a larger evil looming over the world. The show looks to build to the massive war showcased in previous seasons. The new season even seems to have given some characters a makeover as well. Especially Glimmer and Catra (AJ Michalka), which could also signify a jump in time for the series.

The He-Man Cross Over Might Still Be in the Cards

It’s an interesting time at Netflix given that both lead characters of the Masters Of The Universe franchise will have their own shows. With the Kevin Smith produced He-Man anime on its way, She-Ra is enjoying a great run on the streaming service.

While season 4 of She-Ra is coming soon, that proposed He-Man / She-Ra Christmas special crossover could be a while away.

She-Ra And The Princesses Of Power season 4 will premier on Netflix on November 5.
