Secret Invasion will follow up on the events of the Captain Marvel movie. It will focus on the famous MCU villains and sometimes allies – the Skrulls. Samuel L. Jackson is back as Nick Fury. Ben Mendelsohn is also reprising his role as the Skrull General Talos. Kingsley Ben-Adir will likely play a still unknown villain.
Rumors indicate that Emilia Clarke could be playing a character named Abigail Brand. In the comics this character has alien parentage, but she is also a mutant with green hair and the pyrokinetic abilities. Since WandaVision didn’t quite bring the X-Men universe into the MCU, it is unlikely that the character in Secret Invasion would be a mutant. But she can still be the head of SWORD, as the character is in the comics. After all, following the events of WandaVision it seems like there might be a leadership position available.

Will Emilia Clarke Also Appear In The Lando Series On Disney?
The reported role will also mark Emilia Clarke’s return to television after the end of Game of Thrones in 2019. And a contract with Disney might mean good news for the upcoming Lando series in the Star Wars programming lineup. Clarke played the role of Qi’ra in Solo: A Star Wars Story opposite Donald Glover’s Lando. It would be great to see her appear in the Lando show and follow up on her mysterious role from the movie.
