DC Titans Spotted Filming In Toronto
DC Titans is being filmed in Toronto, at least according to the Toronto Filming Twitter account! The second season was released last year and it’s been confirmed Season 3 is happening, with a projected release in July. It’s heartening to see filming starting up again given that the entire world is still grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic and many TV shows film schedules had been shut down (including the CW). So what can we deduce from these tweets?
The Toronto Filming’s tweet showed Wanted posters for several of the characters, including Blackfire, the Titans, and Superboy. We also saw Red Hood Rises posters, which could foreshadow DC Titan’s Jason Todd’s transformation in Season 3. In the comics, Jason transforms into the Red Hood after being murdered at the hands of the Joker and then is resurrected by Lazarus Pit. While the Red Hood isn’t a bad guy per se, he has a lot of trauma and trains himself to be a killer. Notice that the placement of the Red Hood posters can be read together with the Wanted posters as: WANTED. DEAD OR RED HOOD RISES. Coincidence? Maybe. The second photo in the tweet appears to be a general store in the city of Gotham. Unfortunately, not much can be deduced except that the store is a bit of a fixer-upper.

What Happened Last Season on Titans?
At the end of Season 2 (SPOILERS ahead!), the Titans clash with Deathstroke, and Dick Grayson finally suits up and becomes Nightwing. Gar and Conner are freed from Mercy Graves (special assistant to Lex Luthor) and Rachel heads off to the home of Wonder Woman. We also saw the death of Donna Troy, which struck some as strange since she was the only Titan who could hold her own against Superboy. With all of this in mind, we know that Season 3 will be chock-full of new surprises and revelations (and Barbara Gordon). Hopefully, we’ll see more film locations and get hints as to what the new season holds. Check out our report on the episode titles for the majority of Titans season 3.
Titans will debut on HBO Max in late 2021.
What do you hope to see in Season 3? If you were in Toronto, would you go check out DC Titans filming locations? If you have, leave a comment and let us know what you saw.
