Cobra Kai Comes To an End. The sixth Season Will Be the Last

Cobra Kai is one of the longest-running series that Netflix has in its arsenal. The series that started on Youtube and migrated to this streaming platform after its second season will end in the sixth season. The company announced this in the promotional video of this saga, which will be the “the biggest … baddest” of the seasons.

The video showed us the best of the previous season, such as the battle between Silver and the different Miyagi Do masters. Also, some scenes from the first season and how it ended with Silver’s defeat. We also saw how Kreese sensei escaped prison, taking an unknown direction.

The statement came out this Friday when the streaming giant announced the promotional video of Cobra Kai. These labeled it as a production that will be “the biggest … baddest”. This would be the end of Daniel La Russo and company’s battle to bring the teachings of the Miyagi do to the new generation.

The developers of this series, Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, commented that they have mixed feelings. They are happy to end the series the way they want, but harmful to end this great experience.

Among the comments they made we have, “Reacquainting the world with the Karate Kid universe has been our humble honor”. Later they commented, “Making Cobra Kai has allowed us to join the same hallowed dojo once inhabited by the great Robert Mark Kamen, John Avildsen, Jerry Weintraub, and all the amazing original cast members. It has also enabled us to play sensei, expanding the original storylines and birthing a new generation of underdogs. We’ve never once taken this opportunity for granted”.

They ended their statement by commenting, “Our day one goal with Cobra Kai has always been to end it on our terms, leaving the Valley in the time and place we’ve always imagined. So it is with immense pride and thankfulness that we are able to announce that achievement. The upcoming season six will mark the conclusion of Cobra Kai”.

What to Expect in this Upcoming Season with Daniel Larusso and Johnny Lawrence

Very little is known about the next season of Cobra Kai, since the video only shows scenes from the previous sagas. However, we can infer several possibilities. The first will be the end of the conflicts between the dojo members of Daniel La Russo and Johnny Lawrence.

We may also see these two have their final encounter with Kreese who is on the run from justice. This comes after Silver framed him for assaulting a person. We will also see Lawrence’s phase as a new father, along with Miguel, his adopted son who could also be the partner of Daniel’s daughter.

As for the Dojo they will likely mix both to create a unique one, considering that they are already more friendly with each other. They also know the style better and have a bridge between the two: Chozen, Russo’s enemy from the second movie, and his support in season five.

The video does not indicate the release date of the final season of Cobra Kai. However, the creators of the series and the rest of the production team promise it will be great.
