Recently, it’s been a pretty great time for Star Wars fans. After all, Lucasfilm announced a trilogy of films, new TV seasons, and much more at Star Wars Celebration. And that included Bad Batch season 3! However, Lucasfilm also revealed that this would be the last mission for Clone Force 99. If you’re a fan of this animated series created by Dave Filoni, you must be thrilled to hear that the show is coming back with its final season. Jennifer Corbett, the head writer, confirmed the news at Star Wars Celebration 2023. She said that “The story’s not over…The Bad Batch will be back for a third and final season.”

The animated Star Wars series revolves around a team of elite clones with genetic mutations. Of course, it’s during the Clone Wars and Order 66 aftermath, alongside the rise of the Empire. Previously, Disney released the first season of 16 episodes in 2021. Earlier this year, they released season 2. If you’ve been following the series, you know it’s full of twists and turns and plenty of action. So, we’re pretty sure Bad Batch season 3 will take things to the next level!

Additionally, the voice cast includes some fantastic actors. For example, there’s Dee Bradley Baker, Michelle Ang, Ben Diskin, Stephen Stanton, Bob Bergen, Gwendoline Yeo, Rhea Perlman, Daheli Hall, Wanda Sykes, Ben Mendelsohn, and Ernie Hudson. Naturally, if you’re a fan of these actors, you won’t want to miss out on their performances.

During the Star Wars Celebration 2023 panel, they gave us an exclusive first look at Bad Batch season 3. In it, we heard Ian McDiarmid voice the Emperor as he met Dr. Royce Hemlock. Hemlock is the leader of the Empire’s cloning project on Mount Tantiss. In the scene, the Emperor stresses the importance of securing the facility. He states, “It is imperative that this facility remains secure.”

If you’re wondering about the release date, we’ve got good news. Bad Batch season 3 is set to arrive on Disney Plus in 2024. We know waiting is a long time, but we’re sure the final season will be worth it!

Of course, Bad Batch season 3 is the final chapter in the story of Clone Force 99, and we can’t wait to see how their journey concludes. The show has gained a massive following since its premiere in 2021. It’s not hard to see why. The series has something for everyone, with its blend of action, adventure, and heart.

One of the most intriguing aspects of the show is how it explores the aftermath of the Clone Wars and the rise of the Empire. Naturally, we get to see the galaxy from the clones’ perspective after they help to win the war. However, they find themselves on the wrong side of history. The show does an excellent job of showing the complexities of the Star Wars universe and how even the heroes can become villains.

Additionally, another standout feature of the show is its animation. The series uses a unique blend of traditional and computer-generated animation. As such, it has a distinct look and feel. The characters are beautifully designed, and the action sequences are fluid and dynamic. So, it makes sense for this gorgeous animation style to continue with Bad Batch season 3.

Furthermore, another big draw is the characters. Clone Force 99 comprises diverse clones, each with strengths and weaknesses. The team consists of Hunter, the group leader, with enhanced senses and tracking abilities. Tech is the group’s tech expert, who can hack into almost anything. Wrecker is the group’s muscle, with his brute strength and explosive personality. Plus, Crosshair is the team’s sharpshooter with an unerring aim. Finally, we have Omega, the group’s newest member, who has a special connection with the other clones.

As such, we can’t wait for Bad Batch season 3 to be an epic conclusion to one of the best Star Wars shows in recent memory. With its blend of action, adventure, and heart, the show has something for everyone.
