X-Men Member Vote Results Are In! Who Is The Last Member Of The New Team?

DC did a tournament to pick a new series, which is still going on. Marvel, on the other hand, went a little less dramatic but somehow more exciting. Fans got to vote for the newest X-Men team member. So, now that the X-Men member vote results are in, are we ready to see just how wrong most of us here at Comic Years are?

And the Winner of the X-Men Member Vote Is…

Before we get there, let’s just look at how well Marvel set up the revelation. Zeb Wells, the author of Hellions, wrote five one-page stories where two nominees talked about the chances.

So, those are all the losers. I voted Strong Guy. However, it seems that people have no love for a big, bald Italian guy like Guido Carosella and me. Additionally, our other top choices here were Marrow and the two in the next one-page comic, Banshee and Polaris. And now, at last, the winner…

Now that we have the results, who had their money on Polaris to win the X-Men member vote?. Yet while we know Polaris, Cyclops and Jean are definite members, we still don’t know who will round out the rest of the team. But we’ll find out in Gerry Duggan and Pepe Larraz’s Planet-Sized X-Men: The Hellfire Gala. “Pepe and I are thrilled to have Polaris aboard this year’s X-Men team. Leah and David made her shine in X-Factor, and we’re going to make sure she continues to rock in X-MEN,” Duggan said in the Marvel announcement. “The outline is done and dusted, and every member of the team is going to have their issue not just to be the coolest mutant, but the most important character in the Marvel Universe for one month. Can’t wait for you to join us. Hope you survive the experience.”

Marvel also promised to reveal the full lineup soon, but as of this writing…nothing yet. So, who else do you want on the team?
