Marvel’s Phase 4 is finally here! The new Disney Plus series, WandaVision, kicks off a new era in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and we are all here for it. In Podcast form. With the recent debut of the new show, the Comic Years’ Feature Editors all got together in one room, virtually, of course, to discuss the new show. So listen to this episode of the Comic Years Podcast for our WandaVision episodes 1 and 2 spoiler discussion.

The WandaVision series is quite the doozy. The first two episodes released on Disney Plus, and then will follow a week-to-week format going forward. The series is the first MCU content audiences got since Avengers: Endgame. Not to mention how the pandemic delayed all planned releases to 2021. Such as the long-overdue Black Widow solo movie. So after a long wait, we finally get to talk about WandaVision.

The initial episodes were honestly a surprise. They leaned very hard into the sitcom format that the season will seemingly really heavily on. This series is set after the murder of Vision (Paul Bettany) at the hands of Thanos (Josh Brolin) in Avengers: Infinity War. With Wanda (Elizabeth Olson) left in an obviously shattered, but unknown state. WandaVision seems to pick up from there, with more questions than answers. At least, so far.

The Podcast Discusses What WandaVision Is And Where It’s Going

During the Comic Years Podcast discussion of the first two episodes, we begin with a little background about Wanda and how she is in the comics. As the discussion rages, we all share our biggest fan theories about where the series will go and how it will affect the larger MCU. WandaVision definitely got many of us nostalgic about the older era of television with the show’s many homages and throwbacks.

The performances of both Bettany and Olson are revered pretty unanimously by everyone on the panel. So check out this latest episode of the Comic Years Podcast as we get into a WandaVision episodes 1 and 2 spoiler discussion. You can listen to this episode on our browser above. We are also available on Apple Podcasts and all the major podcast platforms. Make sure to leave us a rating & review to give us your feedback.
