Have you heard the news? The Avengers are coming to Disneyland this summer and bringing their own musical with them! That’s right, Disney will have a show called Rogers The Musical at Disneyland. The show is a tongue-in-cheek tribute to Captain America, complete with catchy songs and over-the-top dance numbers. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a proper Avengers show without a surprise appearance from some of your favorite heroes – rumor has it that Hawkeye himself might even make an appearance. Naturally, this news follows after the play appeared in the Disney+ series Hawkeye. The series is set to hit Disneyland during the summer.

Earlier, Disney broke the news on their official Twitter account. As part of the news, they also revealed a video of one of the main characters, Peggy Carter. In the video, she’s walking into the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure. And what’s she holding in her hand? Well, a Rogers The Musical program, of course!

At the moment, Disney hasn’t revealed all the details regarding this new musical. For example, we know nothing about the music, release date, or even the story! However, in the tweet announcing the show, Disney said it would be “a short one-act musical.” Additionally, they also said audiences can watch it for a “limited time this summer.”

Previously, the musical was part of Hawkeye episode 1. During this episode, they invited all the Avengers to come to see the musical. Unfortunately, Hawkeye was the sole invitee who bothered showing up. In the show’s canon, Rogers The Musical takes inspiration from Steve Rogers’s life. You might know him better as Captain America! However, all the main Avengers also feature in the musical.

Rogers the Musical Music

In the show, we saw a glimpse of some of the music in Rogers The Musical. The main song was titled “Save the City,” which the original Avengers movie inspired. More specifically, the Battle of New York gave this scene its name. Although the Hawkeye scene was relatively short, you can watch a longer version of it. Just check out the post-credits scene during the show’s finale for the extended version! Additionally, you can find the song on all streaming services.

Naturally, Disney California Adventure is certainly the right home for Rogers The Musical. After all, the Avengers Campus is also there. Where else could you go to immerse yourself in the Avengers and Marvel Cinematic Universe? Clearly, there’s a lot planned for Disneyland in the future, and we can’t wait to see what else Disney will reveal.

Of course, this musical will kickstart amid Disney100. This marks 100 years since Disney was established, so you can expect to see plenty of other celebrations for this event. Undoubtedly, we’ll see more Avengers and MCU content in the coming weeks and months. This will also include further details about Rogers The Musical, including the exact release date and some information about the storyline. Perhaps we’ll also learn about the cast appearing there, too. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely we’ll see any of the original Avengers cast there. Don’t expect to see Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Rinner, or Tom Hiddleston there!

Outside of Rogers The Musical, there’s not much news about the Avengers scene at the moment. Currently, Avengers: Secret Wars is set to hit movie theaters on May 1st, 2026. Additionally, Crystal D announced they’d be ending official support for the Avengers game in September. Although fans can continue to play this game, the studio won’t be offering the game for purchase any longer. Naturally, this is sure to sadden plenty of Avengers fans. Hopefully, the news about the musical will cheer them up!
