Fundraising committees have had to get a little bit more creative than usual with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The Jawiin Charity Drive for Service Members is an organization dedicated to uplifting overseas service members and their families through the power of comic books. This event will virtually host guests, including Kevin Smith, Susan Eisenberg, Doc Shaner, and more!
Virtual Fundraiser to Take Place For the Jawiin Charity Drive for Service Members
How many times has a fictional hero or imaginative story managed to lift your spirits? That time Captain America commended a 6-year-old boy who saved sister from a dog attack comes to mind. Comic books are a platform for providing hope, joy, and relief to millions of people around the world, and few deserve it more than our hardworking past and present service members. Thanks to the wonderful contributions of the Jawiin Charity Drive for Service Members, over 144,300 comic books have been sent out to service members and their families.

The goal of this charity drive is to raise $5000 for Operation Gratitude. This money will go towards creating, packaging, and shipping care packages containing snacks, hygiene products, comic books, and more!
Don’t miss your chance to see some great entertainers in the comic book world. Oh, and you will be able to help donate to a worthy cause! Catch the 2020 Jawiin Charity Drive for Service Members here on November 14th! Luckily, the event is free to access. Though, we encourage you to think of all of the times that comic books have helped you out, and consider donating.
