House of the Dragon is one of the most representative of HBO. It is characterized as luxurious and expensive, with adult-oriented content and tone. That makes many viewers scandalized, becoming a mass phenomenon which goes beyond the simple adaptation of the book series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin.
HBO Max Collapses due to House of the Dragon Premiere
HBO Max’s new series House of the Dragon collapsed the platform after high subscriber demand. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon devices could not keep up with the high influx of viewers. This situation led HBO Max users to use Twitter to express their frustrations.
To that effect, HBO Max indicated through an official statement, “House of the Dragon is being successfully viewed by millions of HBO Max subscribers this evening.” They also stated, “We’re aware of a small portion of users attempting to connect via Fire TV devices that are having issues and are in the process of resolving for those impacted users.”
Many Game of Thrones fans were frustrated and stranded with the House of the Dragon debut episode. So, HBO Max support responded to their complaints on Twitter. One of the solutions provided was to “go to any other show/movie on HBO Max, turn off subtitles/captions, and then try streaming House of the Dragon again.” According to reports, these suggestions helped some users, but others could not watch the premiere. Of course, it didn’t help those who required to use subtitles for the episode either.

Game of Thrones previously caused Amazon Fire Stick devices to crash during the final episodes of the original show. That makes us suggest that Fire Stick users take the necessary precautions so that this failure does not happen again.
Hey there! It sounds like you're having difficulties with streaming. More than happy to help. Can you please DM us the error message you are receiving if any, the device you are streaming from, and your account email? This way we can look into this further for you. Thanks! ^AC

The Targaryens are Back
House of the Dragon works as a prequel to Game of Thrones. Since its first announcement, this show has kept fans on tenterhooks, and the debut episode on August 21, 2022, was a success.
According to IGN, the debut episode was “a strong, well-cast start to the Game of Thrones spin-off. This feels very close to its predecessor in tone and content, but immediately establishes a struggle for power around an amiable, weak-willed king, and vivid new characters to fight those battles. We also have dragons, inbreeding, and resentment. It’s good to be back in backstabbing Westeros.”

The arrival of House of the Dragon brings a revival of the fantasy genre on the small screen. Shows like LOTR: The Rings of Power, The Witcher, and even Netflix’s The Sandman are also part of this revival. House of the Dragon is based on George R.R. Martin’s 2018 book Fire and Blood. It is the first of two volumes delving into the history of House Targaryen.
The series goes back more than 300 years from what we saw in Game of Thrones, featuring Aegon the Conqueror. He is one of the first of a long line of rulers of the House, managing to unite six of the seven kingdoms of Westeros. The first season will contain ten episodes, as in the original series. One of the slogans of the original series is “History does not remember blood. It remembers names.”

Olivia Cooke plays Alicent Hightower, and Emma D’Arcy is Rhaenyra Targaryen, Princess and legitimate heir to the throne. Finally, Matt Smith will play Prince Daemon Targaryen, pretender to the throne and brother of the king. House of the Dragon was filmed in several locations in the United Kingdom and other areas of Europe, such as Spain and Portugal.
