While some in-person events and festivals are resuming, many others are still staying virtual. After the recently announced Netflix’s Tudum fan event, the new DC FanDome 2021 trailer is here to announce the 2nd ever event from DC Films and Warner Bros. Highlighting their slate of DC comics-inspired movies and TV shows, this year promises a lot more to come than their debut. The new trailer announces a dizzying array of new content that will be highlighted at the virtual fan event coming on October 16. Read on to find out more about the new DC FanDome 2021 trailer.

Second Annual DC FanDome Looks Huge

Last year, when DC FanDome premiered during the Pandemic, it was a relatively light affair. They showcased the new trailer for The Suicide Squad and The Batman but otherwise was mostly a hype machine for their upcoming projects, way in the future. Despite that, the event was a massive success and was honestly, one of the better virtual events of the year. But for their 2nd annual event, the fan convention seems to have a massive line-up of all-new original content that is sure to break the internet.

With the newly released DC FanDome 2021 trailer, Warner Bros really makes their presence felt. And it’s honestly a huge deal. Promising footage from their currently in production movies like Black Adam, Shazam: Fury Of The Gods, The Batman, The Flash and many more. To be fair, The Batman already had a new trailer showcased at Cinema Con, so I feel the FanDome version may be the same one. But nonetheless, the titles teased in the DC FanDome 2021 trailer sound epic.

So Many Titles At DC FanDome 2021

The titles teased in the new trailer feature the ones above, but also the recently confirmed Aquaman: King Of Atlantis animated mini-series for HBO Max. The 3-episode mini-series will follow the events of the first live-action movie, as Aquaman becomes King. No word on whether this will be an all-ages show or a more mature fare like the Harley Quinn animated series. Even the live-action sequel is part of the new FanDome event. Batman: The Caped Crusader, from Bruce Timm of the Batman: The Animated Series fame will also be part of the new event. I’m very excited to see a new Batman animated show on the air again.

The event will also feature all other comic-book-based content from Warner Bros. and DC such as The Flash TV show, Doom Patrol, Stargirl, Batwoman, DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, Superman & Lois, Supergirl and so much more. Even updates on upcoming projects that we haven’t seen or heard much from will be announced, such as Naomi, DMZ and more. It’s sure to be a stacked event that will showcase, seemingly, all of the movies, TV shows, games and comics we could ever ask for.

DC FanDome will stream on October 16, starting at 10:00 AM PT.
