Comic Years Podcast: Streaming Wars – Which Is The Best Streaming Service?
We are totally spoiled for content these days. Going from a handful of TV stations to being able to consume what we want, how we want, and when we want, the technology of content has evolved massively. This is mostly due to the advent of streaming services; online content platforms like Netflix and others that completely changed the way we consume content at home. Over the years, many different services launched, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney Plus. Along with even traditional cable and broadcast networks launching their own streaming services to compete, such as CBS All Access and Peacock. So I sit down with our feature editors Emily O’Donnell and Taylor Bauer, to discuss the best streaming service. Check out this episode of the Comic Years Podcast to see which one we landed on.

Cutting the cable has become an entirely complicated process all on its own. With multiple streaming services vying for our attention, the market and the industry is quite crowded. And while services like HBO Max and many others provide something different and unique, it’s difficult to pick just one. Not to mention other factors such as user interface, ease of use, international availability, and the biggest qualifier: the various kinds of content!
The Comic Years Teams Picks The Best Service
As we discuss which is the best streaming service to choose, we take a look at how it all started. So basically how it started and how it’s going. Emily and Taylor both have their own surprising takes. I spend some time complaining about the availability of certain services outside of the USA. We break down the various categories such as the kind of content, original dramas, award winners from each service as we tally the scores! We also have a lightning round of which streaming wins when it comes to specific qualities, and why.
