What is the best way to measure time? Comic book writer Dan Slott delighted us with his particular way of measuring the passing of the days in a Tweet. He informs us of upcoming movie releases in 2022 with the days left to release our favorite geek products. We can see the countdown for the release of Marvel and DC productions and Star Trek, Dr. Who, and Star Wars. Do you think it’s a good way to measure time? In the Tweet, the acclaimed comic book writer gives us a reference list to let us know how many days until fans’ most anticipated geek content is released, including non-superhero titles like Star Trek, Dr. Who, and Star Wars. Slott is known for writing about Spider-Man, She-Hulk, Silver Surfer, and the SpiderVerse, among other things. 

Here’s the tweet where he explains how the writer measures the passage of time, and what better way to do it with upcoming superhero and sci-fi movie and series releases?

Moon Knight New Episode Premieres Today, April 13th

The fourth episode of this character in the new Disney+ series Moon Knight premiered today, and it’s fascinating. Fans, watch out for spoilers ahead. Marc Spector’s adventures also involve Steven Grant, Jake Lockley, The Fist of Khonshu, The White Knight, The Fist of Vengeance, Lord Knight. And yes, the more savvy of us will have already realized that these are some of the multiple personalities of which this character is composed. 

The Disney+ series has chosen to introduce us to the character through the personality of Steven Grant, a shy British gift store clerk in an Egyptian relic museum. This approach is interesting but quite far from what happens in the comics, where Steven’s character is an American millionaire playboy.

Picard Tomorrow, April 14th

The next episode of Star Trek: Picard will premiere tomorrow, April 14th. The episode titled “Monsters” will revolve around the attempt to restore Admiral Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) to wakefulness after falling into a coma due to a hit-and-run. We will also have the appearance of an unknown character played by James Callis, the star of Battlestar Galactica. 

Doctor Who: Legend of the Sea Devils Premiers on April 17th

In this adventure, the Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) will face one of his oldest adversaries: the Sea Devils. This special promises to be full of surprises and challenges for Doctor Who, and will finally reveal what terrifying forces lurk beneath the oceans of the 19th century. 

The Batman in Just 5 Days! April 18th

The Dark Knight jumps to streaming from HBO Max on April 18th. After taking the box office by storm, amassing $721 million worldwide, The Batman became the fourth highest-grossing post-covid release. Fans are eagerly awaiting the superhero’s arrival on the streaming platform so they can revisit the film ad nauseam.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds May 5th

The premiere of this new installment of the cowboys in the stars is just around the corner. The new series will focus on Pike’s days in command of the Enterprise and feature Rebecca Romijn as Number One, the ship’s first officer, and Ethan Peck as science officer Spock. We’ve already seen the first trailer for this new Star Trek installment, and it promises to be fast-paced.

Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse of Madness on May 6th 

The sorcerer supreme will hit theaters in just 23 days. On May 6th, we will see how the adventures of Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse of Madness unfold. This film carries the weight of great expectations from the general public, opening a pre-sale of more than 15 million dollars in 24 hours.

Obi-Wan May on May 27th

It has been 23 years since we saw Ewan McGregor’s first appearance as Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. Fans’ prayers have been answered, and in just 44 days, we will have the Disney+ series centered on the acclaimed character. Will there be impressive appearances?

Ms. Marvel on June 8th 

On June 8th, the miniseries based on the adventures of Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel will be released. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and shares continuity with the franchise’s films. This young girl with cosmic energy powers will have the opportunity to earn her place in the UCM very soon.

Thor: Love and Thunder on July 8th

On July 8th, we will enjoy the adventures of Jane Foster and Thor on the big screen. The trailer is expected to be released imminently, as many fans are demanding that we still don’t have a trailer less than three months before the film’s release. We haven’t seen the God of Thunder solo since 2017’s Thor Ragnarok, and there’s a lot of anticipation.
