One of the most anticipated movies in the Marvel Universe has been Thor: Love and Thunder. It will be released in early July, and the public is excited after seeing several trailers and images. Thor: Love and Thunder continue with Thor’s life after Avengers: Endgame, when the God of thunder goes with the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The movie’s filming is ready; apparently, only Marvel’s details are missing for its release. Marvel and Disney have not wasted time on the movie’s marketing plan. They released a teaser trailer at the MTV Awards, where several productions, including Black Widow, Loki, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, received awards.

During the 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards, Marvel released a teaser trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder. The trailer shows part of the fight with a reunion between two of the main characters of the Thor saga. This likely is one of the releases we will see from Marvel to promote the movie and achieve a resounding success at the box office.

The teaser released at the MTV Movie & TV Awards was a short 23-second scene from the movie. In it, we see Thor in a crowd when he is reunited with his old hammer, Mjolnir. Thor calls the Mjolnir looking to get it; however, the mighty hammer moves away from the God of Thunder to go to the hands of Jane Foster, his old love, reuniting after a long time.

In the end, we see a very peculiar scene, as Jane Foster approaches Thor, spinning the hammer as he used to do. The appearance of the hammer in the teaser left many doubts because the Mjolnir was supposed to be destroyed. We should remember that Hela destroyed the Mjolnir in Thor: Ragnarok, and the one he used in Avengers: End Game, was returned to its timeline.

The Mjolnir Jane Foster is using may be either the same rebuilt hammer or a new version. This scene denotes that Foster now possesses the God of thunder’s powers, just like Thor. We will have to wait to see how this reunion influences the two and who will keep the God of Thunder title.

Natalie Portman Returns

This movie will show Natalie Portman’s return as Jane Foster. She will return reinvented and much more powerful, with powers similar to Thor’s. Now she is the worthy owner of Mjolnir, and with the powers, it grants to its user.

Thor currently possesses the weapon built for him by the dwarf in the movie Avengers: Infinity War. Its official name is Stormbreaker, an ax that gives lightning and storm powers to its user.

Thor: Love and Thunder will present the conflict over who will be the God of thunder. Especially from what we have seen in other trailers, we can see Thor confused for not knowing what to do at this time and not having a fixed target. We will have to wait and see what happens between these two protagonists with similar powers.

We will see the fourth film of the Thor saga on July 7th and 8th, depending on your time zone. The teaser shows a lot of action, Christian Bale’s character as the villain of the movie and Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and a version of the God of thunder.

Surely we will see a reunion between these two main characters of the saga. We will also have to wait if the romance they experienced in the first two Thor developments is still alive or died long ago in both.
