The Flash Movie Trailer Released At The Super Bowl 2023

The Super Bowl brought us great surprises, a great game, and several movie trailers, such as the trailer for The Flash movie. DC’s Scarlet speedster movie will be released this year, and Warner and DC took the opportunity to promote this product in this great sporting event.

In this preview, we saw part of the movie’s plot, the villain, and confirmed some rumors. We also saw the allies that Flash will have in this production. Among them we will have Michel Keaton’s Batman, Ben Affleck’s Batman and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl.

What we Saw in The Flash Movie Trailer

In the almost three minutes of The Flash movie trailer, we could see a little of the plot and the similarities and differences with the story of Flashpoint. In the footage, Barry Allen travels to the past, using his super speed to save his mother. This event caused a timeline rupture. 

As he avoids his mother’s death, he realizes that he could be in another universe or another reality could have been created. The trailer shows two versions of Barry Allen and two different Batmans. We will also have the first appearance of Kara Zor-El.

In the trailer, we see a repeat of the Man of Steel event, with General Zod’s invasion of Earth. However, in this universe, Kal El never made it to Earth, but his cousin Kara, who was held captive in a military facility, did. 

In the trailer, we see how Barry Allen’s turns to Batman for help. Together they go to rescue Supergirl from the military facility where she is being held captive. When rescuing her, she comes in contact with the sun and recovers her strength, going to the confrontation against General Zod. 

Doubts Left by The Scarlet Speedster Trailer

There are some doubts left by The Flash movie trailer. The first is how Flash will interact with the different versions of Batman. There is also the question of whether any other speedster version will appear. 

On the other hand, we also don’t know what experiments the two Barry Allen will carry out using lightning. 

There is also doubt as to whether this filming will be related in any way to the new Superman installment. In the trailer, we see the scene of General Zod looking for a Kryptonian. This could be Supergirl, and he seeks to destroy life on Earth to start a new Krypton. 

The detail would be that in the comics and all the animated series, Kal El always arrives first than Kara. However, in The Flash movie trailer, there is no reference to Superman. 

We will have to wait until June 16, 2023, to clear all these doubts.
