The Flash Justice League Will Be An Alternative Version 

 The Flash movie will be key to the reboot of the DC universe, and the Justice League could undergo a radical change. The departure of Henry Cavill as Superman and Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam has already been announced. Added to this is the cancellation of the Wonder Woman 3 movie.

With the departure of some characters, there will be the return of others, such as Michael Keaton’s Batman or an alternative version of Flash. In addition to these, Supergirl and Ben Affleck’s Batman will appear. We still don’t know if Aquaman or Wonder Woman will appear. What is clear is that the Justice League, as conceived by Zack Snyder, will disappear, and now we have more details.

In an interview with Andy Muschietti, the director of The Flash movie, he confirmed the appearance of a new Justice League. After the reboot they want to do in DC and the establishment of the Multiverse as part of the plot, we will see characters of the league, although they are not the ones we already know.

In this case, we will have two versions of The Flash, one by Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen. The other will be Savitar, a temporary regent who left a version of this from another universe that will be the villain to beat in this movie. 

About the Justice League that will be presented in The Flash, director Andy Muschietti commented the following: “We are presenting Justice League that is not the powerful Justice League that we all know”. He added about the members of this new league: “As Bruce Wayne said, it’s like a retired vigilante, a half-solar-powered alien, and two idiots”.

Muschieti commented on the multiverse plot: “The great story at DC involves the Multiverse, meaning an infinite number of Earths. There could be different versions of these characters and really explore different stories. The Flash is synonymous to the Multiverse.”

According to the director’s statements, the two speedsters will be part of the Justice League at the beginning of The Flash. The goal will be to defeat a returning villain, General Zod. According to this timeline, the villain was never defeated by Clark Kent. As for Batman, it is still unclear if we will see Thomas Wayne, the alternate version of Batman that emerges with Flashpoint.

The filmmaker commented that Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman would appear. But from what he says, she will not participate in the fight. She may leave at the beginning or end of the production to be part of the new team that James Gunn wants to incorporate in DC.

Will the New League be up to the Villains?

Another question to The Flash director was whether this new Justice League would be able to with the villains. The heroes will first have to face Zod, Superman’s archenemy. Then they will have to defeat Savitar or Dark Flash, as the director also mentioned. Against Zod, Muschietti said they have a chance, considering they have a Kryptonian and Batman’s wits on their side.

The problem for the Justice League may be Dark Flash himself. This character was part of the team and will subsequently turn against them. This implies that he will gain information about their weapons, their technology, and their strengths and weaknesses. He will be prepared for everything they can throw at him.

In this part of the movie, we may have the entrance of Gal Gadot. Wonder Woman would be like the surprise element for Savitar, which would turn the situation around. Details are unknown if it will be that of Savitar’s dimension or that of Flash, considering that the theme of the Multiverse opens many doors.

What is clear is that we will see an intense Justice League fight in The Flash. It will be exciting to see what happens in this movie, which has undergone many changes and reshoots. It will also lay the groundwork for the new ecosystem of characters in the DC universe on film.
